  1. Yeah, it had to be a perfect throw... unfortunately it was.
  2. Just as long as we can keep getting all the best players out of MN... 😂
  3. Perhaps but Hoskins still has to go after it. It was Elvis' bag to cover
  4. I think quite a few people did... 😂 I wonder if CC will ever get his "Favre" moment...
  5. Of course... we only ever know the results of one path (unless you are Dr. Strange).
  6. good morning Bellinger. Looked mightly sleepy out there...
  7. So in youth, is it more about managing insulin levels? Or even if the insulin is managed there can/will be problems? I'd imagine that a pro athlete would make sure to manage the insulin. I'm more curious if it is being managed that there is still high risk or not. There are plenty of injury prone people out there without diabetes.
  8. We've heard this since he was drafted, but I've never quite put together the relationship. I'm not familiar with the side effects diabetes has on the body. If his blood sugar is managed, wouldn't the rest of the system function normally? Or is there more too it? Anyone care to explain?
  9. Fiers is also a great comp because of his "rising" FB. Fiers had less velocity, but because of the spin on his FB, it never dropped like normal FB and made it hard(er) to hit. I'd absolutely take a Fiers level career from Meyers (and I think he would too).
  10. It's been 5 days rest for Dallas Keuchel since he last pitched. That would be a bit of a whirlwind for him to make a start after just joining the club like that, but...
  11. For those that are not old enough to know what tabloids are... There was a time when real news was compiled and written on tree pulp. We called them newspapers. Then we gathered all the fake news and wrote that on colorful tree pulp for the amusement of people to read while in the grocery store lines. We called them tabloids. Separating the two made it easier to distinguish the gullible people from the rest of us. Today, both real and fake news are mushed together and broadcast on social media. And it turns out that now we are all gullible. 😉
  12. As others have said, it is a low cost move to band aid our rotation until a few more get healthy. Not a needle mover but plugs a leak in the dike which has value. I guess by saying "meh", I join the ranks of the "happy" here at BF. 😂 Even if that were true, it is laughable for that to be a concern in light of everything else MLB players have been involved with or accused of...
  13. I probably should read those...
  14. My impressions: I didn't know Murphy was retiring Looks like Policy was instrumental in Titletown development around Lambeau Muphy gets a lot of grief (perhaps for good reason) with the Rodgers communication stuff that blew up, but otherwise has done well running the organization.
  15. I appreciate you going all out for the team!
  16. Brewers find a new baseball efficiency... keep hitting the catcher's glove!
  17. Kind of frustrating for us too... Let's not feel sorry for them. 😉😂
  18. Willy spits on exit velocities and launch angles to get that single.
  19. Wow, those were 2 bad strikes on Sal. Strike zone crap continues...
