Is it April 1? What the hell is going on here?

Rogers officially headed to 15 day DL along with Green.

Bring the Bratzooka to Miller Park. I haven't had meat in over a decade, but I will eat a brat if I catch one fired out of a cannon.
  4. jjkoestler
Well... The Brewers should be better this year. That's a good thing. /thinking positive and removing the toaster from the edge of my tub. Help me get excited about this.

Words cannot describe just how pissed I am.

OSU is going to cruise to the Elite 8

What is Davis' trade value at this point? I like his bat, but there just isn't a spot for him on this club. I'd prefer trading him for another prospect rather than having him sit on the bench.

What is the downside to an international draft?
  10. jjkoestler
Nice draws for both WI schools. I thought WI was going to be a 4 seed, but there isn't much difference between a 4/5.

Where was this team all season? They are unstoppable when they can get points in the paint. Ryan Evans... Keep it up young man.

    DFA Kimbrel

Kalle - Is there a lot of WBC chatter in Italy?

Taylor Green is having a rough game defensively. My crush on Ben Zobrist continues... I love the way he plays.
  15. jjkoestler
I'll go with ZG simply because he gives some of the better quotes in baseball.

I listened for about 4 innings. It was very strange hearing BA say "Axford strikes out Hunter Morris to end the game."

Insert gif of toaster on the edge of the bathtub here. Would the Brewers outfield be Shafer, Gomez, and Aoki? Nice defense, but yikes...

I'd like to change my prediction of "our true enemy has yet to show his face" to Ryan Braun. It's going to get ugly if he is suspended.
  19. jjkoestler
At what point can Lohse sign with a club without the aforementioned club having to surrender a draft pick?
  20. jjkoestler
Correct. This trade would make more sense if he wasn't. Dumping Ellis and adding Smith would have been huge. The Bucks would have been a legit playoff team.

Our true enemy has not yet shown his face.

Record: 77-85 Division: 3rd (Reds, Pirates, Brewers, Cards, Cubs) All Stars: Braun (Luc puts up all star numbers but get snubbed due to Posey and Neck Tattoo) Disappointments: Hart (Injured), Starting pitching not named Yo, Surprises: The bullpen, Weeks World Series: Nats over Blue Jays

What does Ryan Evans bring to the table? I'm not trying to be snarky, but I cannot figure it out. He seems to be solid defensively (so is the majority of WI) and pretty terrible offensively. What am I missing?
  24. jjkoestler
Now the Bucks will be the 7 seed... Awesome. /blue

    Gamel is clearly sandbagging. /blue
