As always these daily write ups are the start to my mornings. Thank you to the whole Crew of you who do these (see what I did there). Also special shout out to two of the videos I watched yesterday - Seth’s amazing interview with Alexander Cornielle which should be a definite watch (along with the interview he did with Yoho, just awesome), and I rewatched that DSL video which is just cool stuff. That’s how you keep talent pipeline going- build high quality facilities in the region where things like reputation of an organization (among other factors like agents relationships and team fandom) will help sway signing of young Latin players. Cool stuff. And a great day on the farm with Nashville the only independent loss (DSL match up guaranteed a loss there). once again thanks for my must read morning routine.

Botton 9 with Holub on. Then a fly out to right center. Carlos Rodriguez may have trapped it, but called it an out. Got lucky there. But a misplay by Miller on a ball tapped in front of the plate. And a runner on 1st. Routine fly out to shallow center caught by Murray. And a K. and its a Shucker win.

Want a synopsis of the Shuckers season. Boeve walk. Wilken single. Miller walks. Then.... EBJ strikes out swinging to a guy who was not locating well. Then EMJ grounds into the 3-2-3 DP. Ugh. This team I tell you. I mean they are at least in the lead. But had the chance for so much more. Now on the bottom of the 9th, still 5-3.

Y. Herrera finishes 5 strong innings. Gave up 8 hits and a few walks, so his pitch count was up to ~95. But got the strikeout on a 93 mph heater to end the 5th. Gutsy performance by the young man. TRats still up 6-3. .... and it's apparently a weather delay. That must have been quick.

Oh yeah. Mudcats win. AIdan Maldonado with a 3 inning save. Galindez had a nice start. And DiTuri and Pratt made up most of the offense, with 5 of the teams 8 hits. Final score 2-1. Nice win.

Hall first HR. Can't believe it was his first in pro ball. He got all of it. What a shot. And then .... walk, fly out, single with an error and triple. Now it's 5-2 TRats. Let's go!!!

With the great starts from the ‘24 class in the first few games (yes, very, very small sample size), it is tough to see Kevin Ereu struggle early on, while DiTuri now joins Yophery in Zebulon.

What a cool interview, Seth. Loved this and Yoho. I hope this is a regular feature as I would love to watch them. Alexander is very good interview candidate, thoughtful and honest. The background of how he signed (hitters sign, and those that don’t sign opt to try out as pitchers is a great insight I had no idea about). And his evolution and maturity shine through. Is it wrong to have him my new favorite pitching prospect (along with Yoho) because of both his month of may and this interview??!?

And a single by Seymour, and the bobble by Warren in LF lets the tying run score. 4-4. Carlson gets an out. Then ugh. A near HR, but big time double and it's 5-4. Ballgame. Shuckers lose. Heartbreak. This team.

Ugh. Killer GIDP by Miller. And it stays only 4-3. On to the bottom of the 10th, Sam Carlson still on the mound.

Biloxi has Boeve lead off with a fly out and CRod tags, and makes it to 3rd with a bad throw by the CF. THen a WP, and Biloxi is up 4-3. And now Wilken earns a walk. C'mon Shuckers!

Sam Carlson comes in with a 2 on, 2 out scenario and gets a high flyout to RF. On to extras, with Shuckers up with CRod on 2nd, and Boeve up. Let's go Shuckers. Please.

Bottom of the 9th. Seminaris stays in. First batter singles. Then bunt and almost miscue by Seminaris who threw too high, but still got the runner. Simpson (the speed demon) is on now. Winning run for the other team on 2nd base.

And it was Campbell, not EMJr who walked. 2 outs, A walk by Murray, and it's 2 on, 2 out and C. Rod is up. But pops it up. and 3-3 on to the bottom of the 9th. Sounds need a rally, Now. Roller 1st out. Zamora up.

Woessner keeps it a 1 run game. Last cahnce for the Sounds. In Montgomery, it's still 3-3. EMJ walks, and 1 out.

And that missed opportunity come back to haunt them. Biloxi concedes a run and it's now 3-3. I had to turn off for an inning or two, so not sure how. But Bottom 8, Seminaris still in, and an error by Wilken and it's a man on with 2 outs. Apparently it was an inside the park home run in the 7th by Simpson (the same guy who messed up Shane Smith's inning yesterday or the day before).

And an Anferny Reyes sighting in Charleston. And 4 straight balls. Ball 1 and then a HBP. Not a great start to his low A debut. :(

And a strikeout, pop out and ground out and Murray, CRod and Boeve strand the runners. OK I will stop posting good things about Biloxi. (Shakes his head in shame)

T-Rats need to start the rally now. Separately - In Montgomery: A bloop hit by Warren, and Biloxi now lead 3-2, and runner on the corners. Murray up with no outs.

I am watching it live. Gameday is frozen. It's top of 7, EMJ walked, and Campbell up. Still 2-2

Sounds get a run and Wisconsin too. Yay! Make it 2 for the Sounds. Now make that 3!! It's only 5-3. Biloxi - Childers get 5 in a row, then can't get an out - 3 straight singles, and Seminaris is in to try to keep it tied. Ugh C'mon Shuckers. Whew. Deep fly ball out to keep it loaded. On to the 7th in Montgomery.

Here's a first - Biloxi outhitting and outscoring Nashville/Wisconsin combined tonight (Nash 0 R, 3 H; Wisconsin with the very Biloxi OR and only 1 H). Mudcats up, and trying to not blow the big lead, still up 6-2. Yophery walks and gets picked off ;( Pratt on with an error.

C.D. Rodriguez with a triple, and Biloxi has life, down 2-1. Boeve up and Ks looking. Wilken a fly ball to center (not too deep, he needs to hit it harder than that), but enough to score the speedy Rodriguez. Now tied 2-2, and Miller up.

Gameday frozen for Biloxi. But Wichrowski gives up a hit in the 4th, then a "hit?" (error by EBJ, ugh) and men on the corners. So instead of 2 down from a GIDP, it was 2 on. Wichrowski gets a ground out (should have been out 3), for the first out and a runs scores. Then a couple more outs, and it's only 2-0 Childers 1-2-3 5th inning.
