    Cooper Pratt with a HR. I didn’t see but 2 run shot. Hot dang. Peña with a nice night (just stole 2nd and going to 3rd yessir), Dinges and Payne back. Burke hitting and Fischer debuting tomorrow ‘AND if (just IF) Pratt can get hot oh boy wow that would be so so nice

    Made with a big walk. Then Peña up and first pitch is a balk.. not sure I saw anything but makes up for the questionable call earlier and in other games too. Run in 2-2 Two pitches later and Pena singles home two. Nice high A start for Luis.

    Oof. Rivera gives up a single then a HR. 6-5 Mudcats lead still but give up those two runs Adamczewski just got them

    Nicasia has a chance to make up for it and just watches strike 3. Yikes. TRats trying to get two runners on base home for a run or two… Meanwhile - Garret Spain have yourself a night. Another solo HR 4-4.

    In all of this I missed the Mudacts. Big inning. Walk, walk Adamczewski triples both runners. 6-3 Mudcats. Yes!

    Checks to see MacGregor debuts for Biloxi. But single and a double and now a n error Clingstones up 4-3. ‘in Wisconsin: Ugh. Base hit up the middle and Nicasia just misplays the ball again. Runner was going to score but now runner advances to 2nd. Fortunately a grounder to end the inning. Great Lakes leads 2-1

    Nicasia is not a natural center fielder. Just mis-played a well hit ball to deep center. Tough play but he got there but just mis-played the glove. Not sure there’s a natural CF in Wisconsin.

    That’s what you like to see. 1-2-3 inning by Rivera after his challenging in the 6th. On to top of 8 in Fayetteville. muddies lead 4-3 still. In Appleton - it’s 1-1. Biloxi is still tied 3-3 as well.

    Peña makes a nice catch to start to atone for prior mistakes. This is after Travis Smith issued a walk on what looked very much like what I see strike 3 call. I mean I won’t call out the umps, but it was an ummm unusual call. Pena snares the liner to make out 4 …. Err out #3

    I was being kind calling it “weird” it was a disaster and a cluster….. Rivera did himself no favors, but two MISSED outs. Yikes

    Not sure how to describe the inning in Fayetteville Bases loaded and a grounder to short DiTuri throws close to 2nd, but apparently ruled Adamczewski was not on the base, the throw to first late. Bases loaded, and 4-1. Next batter pops up. Next batter ropes a single to left - throw in cut off then throw to second and Adamczewski clearly nails him but somehow called safe??? Two questionable calls against Adamczewski. 4-3 Next batter walk, and finally a grounder out ….. called out and no change of call by the ump🙄 Weird inning. Still 4-3 Mudcats.

    Rivera gets a K - I had video over on Biloxi but looks like clock violation automatic strike. ‘Next batter another 4 pitch walk. Bases juiced. 😳

    I kept wanting to screen capture each update to track the changes throughout the year- but I forget to. Sorry If anyone has a prior list - or if anyone knows of the archive list please post here

    Oh please at least Tellez or higher. A lot of draft capital into Wilken, Boeve, Burke and Fischer. We need one of them to hit, and I would love at least 2 of them to hit, in order to cover the corner IF for the next 6+ years. (I should add Adams into that group; but not Bitonti, Ebel yet as they are several years off).

    Sheets was part of that 2008 season, he and CC were the backbone of the pitching staff. He got injured late in the season - I went back to look it up he pitched through mid-September but late August/early September is when he was not himself - and he made the All Star game that year. The CC trade was in July. Yovani Gallardo was injured early in the season and that factored into the team needing another starter. If Sheets remained healthy who knows. Just like with any of the draft picks - Arnett in '09, Jungman/Bradley etc etc. But back to this year's draft again.....

    Laser line drive right at the 3rd baseman and Daz is out. 2-1 loss. Yuck

    Pitch 103 it’s a soft fly to left and falls. 2 run single. Decent bounce back game for Carlos, but got into trouble with walks and got the pitch count too high. Sounds down 2-1. Childers in. Gonna take a break for a bit again.

    Good question. Or would it be that they would have scouted someone different with other traits. Maybe a little of both

    Yup- he was 0-9 with 4K the next two games. Then a couple good games, then a 6 game hitting streak, and recently he had a great stretch against Kannapolis and now this week.
