    Gasser with 3 scoreless innings for Nashville. 42 pitches, 4K Easton McGee and holding them scoreless- which shows you the gap from AAA to the bigs.

    Bouncer back to Flores and he underhands it to first. That is game. 9-0. Nice win, good job T-Rats. Heckuva start by Gillis. And congrats to Jesus Made on your first High A HR, one of many more I hope.

    When the other team's announcer is questioning bad calls that go in favor of his team in a 9-0 game, that is telling that the ump is not having his best night. And sounds like it was a lot questionable calls at home. Flores trying to get that last out. But walks the bases loaded.

    In Peoria, the Chiefs catcher is now pitching in the 9th. 9-0 TRats lead still. Mop up action for a position player.

    Herron with another RBI hit, but Zamora thrown out trying to score. 9-2 final. Sounds lose. But, but they did not get shut out right 🤨

    EMJ just feet away from a monstrous 2 run HR, to create some 9th inning magic. Sounds down 9-2, and EMJ hit was foul still at bat. Let's go Ernesto.....

    Gillis comes out for the 7th. Strikes out the first batter. Going well. At 76 pitches, he is pulled. Just curious why they put him out in the 7th if he was coming right out. But great outing for Tanner. Well done.

    TRats get a run, and trying to add more with Peña and Made up. But both K against a 25 year old pitcher in his 2nd year at high A. Against 2 18 year olds in their first week of high A. Man putting it in perspective it’s just amazing what Luis and Jesus are doing.

    Childers pitched a heckuva 8th inning. Good command, velocity at 97-98 on his 4 seam. Very nice along with Yeager and Yoho.

    And the home plate sounds like he is doing things - lots of chirping and some questionable calls. Looks like Peoria coach ejected for arguing pitches I presume after a strike out. Oh nevermind- there was an automatic pitch violation and strike 3 against the batter. Manager is out. TRats still up, Gillis through 6 solid inning, 6 K and 2 hits What’s that ? Questionable officiating in Nashville. Jacksonville fielder seems to touch the ball in fair territory but called a foul ball - next pitch borderline but probably strike on the edge, game day makes it look legit but seems borderline and Berroa out and Sounds stuck at only 1 run. But hey that is better than 0 runs right?

    Hey. Jimmy Herron with a hit and Zamora scores - Bronx cheer mixed with golf clap …. Quickly consults the rule book - yes in fact the Sounds are allowed to score in a game. Glad we got that rule clarified 🙄

    Can we offer him a QO? There is a mutual option for 2026 - I thought those were exempt from QO - and thus a draft pick? Or maybe I am completely wrong.

    I thought Joseph did - but honestly I didn't read it right away, just saw DeBerry, and it wasn't until last night it hit me. 🙄 But you have been on a roll recently with the headlines!! Love 'em

    Right I think this allows the team to rotate the 8th/9th inning between those three which *should* keep them fresher for the rest of the year, as Miller has closed games this season. And that bumps everyone else back, so fewer outings or less high leverage outings for Mears, Koenig and Anderson who have performed well, but they can be the 6th/7th inning guys or late innings in less close games. Again, assuming health, and everyone continues to perform as they have this year.
