  1. Made-Peña-Bitonti get hits in the the 9th to make the final score looked better. It’s a 13-6 deficit with 2 down in the 9th. TRats take the lead! Wild pitch with bases loaded, the Baez fielders choice, Areinamo single and Dinges fielders choose and its a 7-4 TRats lead!!
  2. Well TRats scored a few - Dinges singled home a run and Blake Burke with a 2 run HR. 4-3 deficit Hayden Robinson pitches 1.2 scoreless innings with 2H, 1BB, and 3K. Tobias comes in and pitches to two batters. Encouraging seeing more than an inning for Hayden.
  3. Tonight on the farm is not so great. After a long day. I may just catch up the reports tomorrow. Glad @Joseph Zarr is on it tonight!!
  4. It has gone dry the past few - I mean several games are the exception- but several teams have not been hitting regularly or not scoring when they do get hits.
  5. We do have another thread on Wilken and his injury. https://brewerfanatic.com/forums/topic/45381-brock-wilken-injures-knee-rosiak-indicates-inflammationswelling-more-testing-next-week/#comment-1665182 Do we need two threads? And we may want to keep speculation to a minimum and report updates as they come along. I am still unsure if this thread was started because the poster knew of an update or diagnosis, but I hadn't seen anything updated. Should we close one thread and/or merge?
  6. Man Fielder had some night, but only 1XBH of his 5 hits, still 5-5, raising his OPS to .981 And Quintana is really coming around after an awfully slow start - his first 10 games (5 for his first 40 AB, with 15K!). Also he has ridiculous home/away splits, which may not be too wild considering his age, and first season playing in the US affiliated ball. Corobo and Encarnacion continue to show enough to be optimistic given their really young ages. Montero has cooled off but drew 3 walks last night and Ereu cannot buy a hit but 1BB, 2HBP (ouch) and a sac fly. Solid pitching lines last night - only two pitchers to complete the 9 innings with limited damage and impressively 1BB to 8 K. Loved the videos as noted above. Thanks for linking those @Jim Goulart
  7. Yeah. Wow. 7 run 1st. Batted around with 6 hits (all singles), walk, 2 HBP and an error. Perkins 2-2 already. Quezada had a better 2nd inning. ACL Crew up 7-1.
  8. Is this what he was diagnosed with?? If so, freak accident, but better prognosis than a ligament tear. He may be out for 2 months if this is what is going on with him maybe?
  9. Yoho on for the 9th. First pitches are ball. Next 6 pitches strikes or hit in play. 1 K, 2 weak grounders to 2nd. 1-0 Sounds win. That’s two solid outings this week by Yoho. If he can throw strikes and get weak contact he will succeed.
  10. As the Brewers end the game, the Sounds break through. Who else? Seigler with a single. Avans scores and EMJ (running for Quero who had a hit) to third. Dalbec up. 2 outs.
  11. That’s pretty cool. I imagine Chris is a pretty good guy seems like he is genuinely enthusiastic on his broadcast.
  12. Something to keep an eye on - or I can look up video later. Dinges subbed out in the 6th after he was up and K’d. Diaz in at catcher. Could be a heat/fatigue thing, but with the way this week is going my thoughts worry.
  13. Cardiac cats do it. Walks by Holguin and Lameda. And Ordonez rips a double to RF on a 3-2 count, and it’s a 5-4 win. Wow. Look like the Mudcats of early seasons there. Comeback in the 8th and 9th!
  14. Yes according to Chris it was an attempted steal of home. Wow. Ok. DiTuri up to try to start a rally. Nope he Ks. Ok. Holguin and Rodriguez are due up next. While Root gets the third out in West Michigan.
  15. Can’t get the video to load but looks like Johnson picks off the runner at third trying to steal home or just break early? Either way top of 9 is over, and Muddies need 1 to force extras and 2 to walk it off. TRats give up the lead Root still trying to get out of it.
  16. It’s now a 5-4 Fireflies lead after a sac fly. 2 outs runner on third. Gotta get this batter and get the offense into comeback mode again.
  17. Looks at TRats. And Whitecals came back to,tie it as well. DeBerry only goes 3 innings and Figueroa get through the 4th. Root in and starts HBP and HR to McGonigle.
  18. Nice. Another Bitonti bomb. And it’s 4-3. But Anderson 0-4 with 4K today ends it Bjorn Johnson - who looked so good, has one of those outings occasionally and today looks like that occasion. 2 walks surround a double. It’s tied 4-4 and runners at the corners. Dang.
  19. Dubanewicz is out. Jose Nova is in (recent ACL promotion) and gets the first man. Then gives up a hit to a guy named Josi Novas. So Josi Novas singles off Jose Nova. OK I find that funny, but that's just me. 2 outs now, and need to keep it a 3-2 game. And this offense needs to pick it up- only 3 hits all game. And Nova gets out of the inning. Bottom of 7 with DiTuir-Holguin-Rodriguez due up.
  20. Areinamo playing like he wants to get to AA to fill the voids from Wilken/Adams injuries. 2-2 today with the HR. Burke is not - still scuffling. GIDP gets him an RBI at least, but he is 4 for his last 28 and 10K, yikes. DInges walks, and Garcia (who also could be promoted) singles, and looking for more, but Hedbert Ks. 3-1 lead.
  21. Dang it. Dubanewicz gives up a double. They nearly pick the runner off, can't see how close, but sounded close. A couple of pitches later a foul ball out of play, and Dubanewicz had the ball, unsure of the rules when it is live again, but the runner at second takes off and makes it in. That comes back to bite as the deep sac fly to RF scores him Well I guess it's moot as Dubanewicz gives up another double. Not his sharpest. But still not too bad for a young pitcher who was only drafted last year. It's 3-2 and Fireflies are looking to add to the lead. But he gets Um to ground out. And it's on to the bottom of 6. 7K and 0 BB for Dorchies/Dubanewicz. Meanwhile DeBerry gives a 2 out hit and a walk, but gets Stephenson swinging to end the 2nd. It's still 2-1 TRats.
  22. Winds are blowing out in all directions in Grand Rapids as Hedbert slugs a HR to right. Areinamo to left, Clark to deep center, and Hedbert to right.
  23. DeBerry gets two quick outs, But Max Clark demolished it to deep center. 1-1 game DeBerry hits the next batter. Gonna need to reel it in here.
  24. Very nice fielding play at 3B by DiTuri. Barehands the ball and fires to first to retire Gonzalez and get Dubanewicz out of the inning, but not after a 1 out triples and a single to tie the game.
  25. Yesterday was all about triples ... today it's double as in double posting ... @sveumrules you keep beating me to the punch
