  1. Brandon Phillips. See separate post.
  2. I live in Atlanta and heard on the local radio him moving to third to let a +++ rookie start at second. They spoke of trading him to a contender and I could not believe they did not mention Milwaukee. I guess they think Villar will bounce back.

Marco Diplan 28. Jacob Nottingham 29. Demi Orimoloye 30. Monte Harrison 31. Troy Stokes 32. Devon Williams 33. Phil Bickford 34. Brendan Murphy 35. Josh Pennington 36. Gilbert Lara
  4. Ty Webb, Noonan, and Wang! What a foursome with Rodney Dangerfield, the second funniest man ever (next to Don Rickles).
  5. Is that you Brent? You guessed it. Give me the ball and I will just outsmart the rest of the league.
  6. Just pitch Suter every fifth day. He is starting to show his worth, right Clancey!

  11. I think they need to keep as many Starting Pitchers as possible and let them work it out with their performance. I think this is the perfect year to do a piggyback system with the 2nd, 4th and 5th starters. Whichever of the six piggyback pitchers shine the brightest, pull the piggyback off of them and add the other to the bullpen. Here is what I would do... Opening Day Line Up (8) 2B- Villar CF- Broxton LF - Braun 3B- Shaw RF- Santana 1B- Thames SS- Arcia C- Bandy Bench (5) C- Pina U- Perez 1B- Aguilar U- Gennett OF- Nieuwenhuis Starting Pitchers with Piggyback Pitcher (8) 1- Guerra 2- Peralta, Anderson 3- Davies 4- Garza, Milone 5- Nelson, Cravy Relief Pitchers (4) 9- Feliz 8- Chamberlain 7- Torres U- Marinez
  12. You are stretching a little with Benji. He was a streaky strike out or home run hitter.
  13. I sense a little "fake news" over at Fangraph. Am I wrong or are they a little tilted.
  14. Very nice list of players. Brinson went up on my list proving me wrong while Lara, Ray, and Harrison still have something to prove. #1 Josh Hader, LHP #2 Lewis Brinson, CF #3 Luis Ortiz, RHP #4 Isan Diaz, SS/2B #5 Brent Suter LHP #6 Phil Bickford, RHP #7 Marcos Diplan, RHP #8 Trent Clark, OF, #9 Brett Phillips, CF, #10 Lucas Erceg, 3B #11 Brandon Woodruff, RHP #12 Joantgel Segovia CF #13 Kodi Medeiros, LHP #14 Jacob Nottingham, C #15 Jake Gatewood, 3B #16 Clint Coulter C #17 Jorge Lopez RHP #18 Devin Williams, RHP #19 Wei-Chung Wang, LHP #20 Cody Ponce, RHP #21 Freddy Peralta, RHP #22 Corey Ray, OF #23 Damien Magnifico #24 Gilbert Lara, SS #25 Demi Orimoloye, OF Trey Supak RHP Miguel Diaz, RHP Corbin Burnes, RHP Nathan Kirby, LHP Jon Perrin RHP Mario Feliciano C Braden Webb RHP Monte Harrison, OF
  15. Yeah! I don't like the Cardinals.
  16. I agree with most of this. Barrios has a chance of being really good. I saw him in AA and he was lights out, reaching 98 with good control. If his arm is healthy, I would keep him in my back pocket. I think Guerra is a trade only if blown away. If he is not traded this winter wait until mid summer.
  17. Top five drafted college players should start at A+. When Kirby gets healthy, I expect him to be in Brevard after maybe a quick stop in Wisconsin. On average, A+ is for 21 year olds.
  18. Who on the 40 man roster are candidates for a winter trade? Braun could happen Guerra after a great year Carter maybe for his pure power Scooter maybe, but I like his left side bat Not much else of value
