  1. 17 year old catcher Texas# 27. Sorry 16 year old catcher.
  2. 17 year old catcher Texas# 27.
  3. Can David Garcia be traded?
  4. Guerra would be my choice. It would be a good sell high move. Lucroy, Jeffress, and Guerra for IF Joey Gallo, LHP Yohander Mendez, OF Ryan Cordell, C David Garcia, and C/1B Brett Nicholas Need more
  5. No Gallo, No Brinson then a boatload..... Texas gets: C-Jonathan Lucroy RHP-Jeremy Jeffress RHP-Junior Guerra Milwaukee gets: RHP-Luis Ortiz LHP-Yohander Mendez OF-Leody Taveras 1B-Ronald Guzman RHP-Ariel Jurado SS-Michael Deleon C Jose Trevino C-Brett Nicholas
  6. If Guerra or Smith are in the deal, boatload is one of the key words! Like seven or eight. Gallo plus six please.
  7. We still have 24 hours to make a deal with a team not on the list. Just do it. Just not the Mets.
  8. Anyone that has a 42 hitting streak at any professional level has to be pretty good. I wish we would have gotten a quality starting pitcher, but we did ok.
  9. Trade Rumors last night..... 11:08pm: Jon Heyman of FanRag Sports tweets that top catching prospect Francisco Mejia would head to the Brewers in the deal. Yahoo’s Jeff Passan tweets that one of left-hander Justus Sheffield or right-hander Triston McKenzie could be in the deal as well, and Paul Hoynes of the Cleveland Plain Dealer also mentions Sheffield as a possibility (Twitter link). Rosenthal tweets that shortstop Yu-Cheng Chang and outfielder Greg Allen are going to the Brewers as well, if he approves the trade.
  10. The most premium position in the field is the catcher other that the pitcher when he is throwing the ball.
  11. I do not think it is unlikely. The Yankees got a haul for Miller, I think we got about the same.
  12. The Lucroy deal falling through would be terrible. The Brewers got some good players for him, including a guy who could be his replacement in a few years. I would imagine the chances are slim that the deal both gets cancelled AND the Brewers are somehow able to turn around and get a better haul for him. They did last year with Gomez. But I would rather shop Lucroy later in the offseason or next year than go back to the Mets and take a deal centered on D'Arneau. Absolutely, do not deal with the Mets!
  13. It is time to sell our relievers. GO get em DS.
  14. Cleveland trades A Miller for Sheffield and Frazier. Looks like we get McKenzie? http://www.cbssports.com/mlb/teams/page/NYY/new-york-yankees
  15. This trade kind of fills the black hole in our organization the is Brevard County.
  16. Could happen, but I think you are overthinking this. I hope so. That puts a lot of power in Lucroy's hands which I would not do if I were DS.
  17. My question is to the pitching coaches out there. How long can you throw the split finger fastball without getting hurt? I heard that it puts stress on your arms some way? Any experts out there? The answer to my questions would direct me on how I would handle Guerra.
  18. With the Lucroy deal almost done, Cleveland still needs a left handed reliever. What is Smith worth to them alone?
  19. He is only 5'10''. I am ok with the size as long as he can develop as a pitcher. Get a change up and everything is good.
  20. Fondy, I thought I double posted!
  21. I think DS did good and got a fair trade. We did not give up a reliever or other MLB asset that can be traded later and we got four quality prospects. With either prospect, we got a quality starting pitch that should fall between Hader and Ponce making him our #2 SP prospect. We got a quality catching prospect who between him and Nottingham and the 2016 draft make our catching prospects top notched. We may have gotten our 3Bman of the future, if not a quality utility man. and We got a nice centerfielder that falls between Phillips and Taylor. I think Phillips moves to AAA and Allen and Taylor battle in AA. I hate to see Lucroy go, but I do not fell we got taken.
  22. I am amazed at the love affair with Hihg upside guys but not yet proven as the centerpiece in these trade talks. I would always be shooting for best guy you can get as the center piece (Frazier/Zimmer, or Devers or in the case of the Braves, Ozzie Albies) and THEN you get that guy you are talking about as the last piece lottery pick. Demeritte and McKenzie are the last pieces before the throw in, not the center piece of a trade for an all star catcher with a cheap contract and a year plus of control. Those types of guys are very nice to recieve, but niether should be the centerpiece of the Lucroy trade if it were to happen. Never said center piece, you did. I would expect the 2-3 pitchers to be the main event.
  23. If it is Atlanta, give me Demeritte plus 2-3 pitchers
