  1. I think Ward or Reetz would be reasonable.
  2. How about J.D. Davis for Lohse?
  3. Hiram is making a run like he did in 2012 and 2013 before getting hurt. His ERA is getting better as he moves up the food chain. Maybe the Brewers get rid of Garza and Lohse and go with Cravy and/or Burgos along with the returning Peralta? I have always rooted for Hiram. Keep it going!
  4. I saw Williams pitch the other night in Appleton and was impressed. Cravy is the real deal. He has good command of a number of pitches. When I saw him last year in Chattanooga you could see he is a smart pitcher. He will be with the Brewers soon and will stay a long time.
  5. I think most Brewer fans are referring to Tyrone Taylor, Kyle Wren, Michael Reed, Monte Harrison, Troy Stokes and the new kid we just drafted.
  6. Looking for Lara and Sergovia tonight in Arizona? Hope so.
  7. Reid-Foley would be my first choice, then move to Smoral plus somebody else. Both are young and look to have high ceiling.
  8. Newcomb, Cowart and McGowin call it a day. Small sample, but Cowart is tearing up AAA Salt Lake.
  9. Lucroy for Bethancourt, Rio Ruiz, and one of their top SP in the minors (preferably Fried). That is at least even when you consider prospects are just that.
  10. Draft strategy 101 Pitchers catchers, and short stops only, please. Pitchers need to be half of your picks, mostly starters. They have a unique skill set. Catchers also have a unique skill set. they also can be converted to 3B, 1B and RF. Short stops also play the most important defensive position, next to catcher. They can be converted to 3B, 2B, and any outfield position. On a side note. Make most of them if not all left handed or switch hitters. Just the geometry of the game.
  11. Appleton would be a cool spot for a AAA team. Could the Brewers make it their AAA home and move the A team to somewhere like Rockford, Madison or another Midwest mid size city. I know the Packers are a special circumstance, but if NW Wisconsin can support them, why couldn't they support a AAA team? How much would they have to improve the FV Stadium?
  12. The Atlanta Braves just built a stadium in Gwinnett County (northeast suburbs of Atlanta) and moved their AAA about three years ago. Why can't the Brewers just do the same in a city of their choice?
  13. I have been reading in multiple threads about how CS is not a good AAA site. What are the Brewers other options? Is a stadium like the one in Madison even an option. It seems like a pretty cool stadium. Here is a link.... http://northwoodsleague.com/madison-mallards/ Maybe make Appleton the AAA and move the A team somewhere else. I don't know the details of what is require. Does anybody else?
  14. I follow mama's rule...."If you don't have something good to say, don't say anything at all". Like Brew4all said, booing seems a little pointless.
  15. Cravy can pitch, just not throw. Look for big things from him. I hope T. Green gets called up to AAA to replace Rodgers. He has always hit well. I hop he is now totally healthy and get back to what he previously was.
  16. I went to the Biloxi game on Thursday and Taylor made a major league catch in the bottom of the 6th inning. He is an outstanding fielder and if he can hit .270 with some power, we have a really good center fielder.
  17. I don't see him on any roster. Anybody know where he is?
  18. Can Segura play 3rd and up his slugging a bit?
  19. 1. Clint Coulter 2. Orlando Arcia 3. Tyrone Taylor 4. Tyler Cravy 5. Tyler Wagner 6. Taylor Williams 7. Monte Harrison 8. Jorge Lopez 9. Devin Williams 10. Taylor Jungmann 11. Gilbert Lara 12. Kodi Medeiros 13. Jake Gatewood 14. Marcus Diplan 15. David Denson 16. Yadiel Rivera 17. Jason Rogers 18. Hobbs Johnson 19. Brandon Diaz 20. Corey Knebel 21. Jed Bradley 22. Sthervin Matos 23. Chris McFarland 24. Joantgel Segovia 25. David Goforth
  20. He needs to play everyday in centerfield. I am hoping for a great spring or a hot April and May to get him quickly to AAA. There is no doubt he can field the position and he has enough power for the position. The question is can he hit for any kind of average or take enough walks to get on base to use his speed. He is one of those guys that can make a walk into a double real quick.
  21. He is like a deer in the outfield! He runs as well as Gomez and tracks balls very well. I hope he starts out hot this year and advances to AAA quickly.
  22. JJ Hardy.....come on man! 3 years $27 million. let Segura platoon with Scooter at 2b and give ARam and JJ a break. go cheap at first base with Clark, Morris, Reynolds or whoever else. lucroy can always play a few games at 1b. CF. Gomez SS. Hardy RF. Braun 3B. ARam C. Lucroy LF. Davis 2B. Scooter 1B. Clark/Morris Bench IF. Segura C. maldandado IF. Clark/Morris OF. LH power
  23. Jungman is a ground ball pitcher, right? I think he would do well as a setup man.
