  1. Brewers want one of the Mets four top starters! Time to play hard ball.
  2. Wheeler, Conforto, Smith and Urena.
  3. Big trade in the works!!!! http://www.mlbtraderumors.com/milwaukee-brewers
  4. Ma likes the fact that 3,000,000 butts sit at Miller Park every year. The idea of winning games is important, but the butts are more important. Milwaukee is unique in that a small market can attract that many people every year with a mediocre team. MA cash cow is the fans of the Milwaukee Brewers. Do any of you ever watch Atlanta play on tv? If the team is not good the fans do not show.
  5. He is to busy working hard!
  6. He was just moved to Helena. He has batted over .350 in his first two assignments and he will take a walk every now and again. He is still 18 and playing in high rookie league! He went 1 for 4 last night. He is my favorite Brewer prospect!
  7. Ivy League graduate (making him very smart) and an assortment of pitches with an average to below average fastball. Chris Capiano (spelling) type starter, maybe better. I like him a lot. Not a thrower, but a pitcher. Greg Maddox lived at 90 miles an hour for the last half of his career. Not saying he is Maddox.
  8. Lucroy is worth a lot... 1. All Star Catcher. 2, Handles pitcher quite well. 3. Handles young pitchers better. 4. Makes only $10 mill over the next two years. The Brewers can be patient with him, they have lots of options. He will be worth a lot during the winter of 2015-16. Trade then. He will be worth a lot during the summer of 2016. Trade then. He will be worth a lot during the winter of 2016-17. Trade then. He will be worth a lot during the summer of 2017. Trade then. Or he will get a qualifying offer during the winter of 2017-18, accept and be a free agent, netting a draft pick. The only scenario that could change this is if he gets some sort of career ending injury and nobody wishes that on anyone. Reviewing my argument to another GM...I will need a boatload to unload Lucroy, you are getting points 1-4 above and getting it at a steal of a contract for over two years, then you get a premium draft pick in 2018.
  9. I would need more for Luc. An extra pitcher and the 20 year old catcher maybe.
  10. I don't think it is. You are about dead on. I would add one more young arm prospect like B Gonzalaz to your trade and I would be happy.
  11. Harvey, Sisco, Hart and B Gonzalaz for Gomez. Two pitchers (one maybe ace), a good young catcher, and a high potential outfield. This would help fill the cupboard.
  12. If they don't wan Parra for Reed, then walk away. Someone else will trade for Parra.
  13. Start with... For Parra you need to include Stassi and/or AJ Reed, with the emphasis on and. For Gomez you need to include Moren, Appel, Stassi, and Reed. The idea of getting quality prospects at catcher first base, and third base helps the organization. This may allow for other things to happen.
  14. When some one says, "We are not expecting a trade", expect a trade.
  15. Add Urena at 3B and you have my vote.
  16. Here we go.... 1. Orlando Arcia 2. Taylor Jungman 3. Clint Coulter 4. Gilbert Lara 5. Tyler Cravy 6. Kodi Mederios 7. Tyrone Taylor 8. Tyler Wagner 9. Michael Reed 10. Jorge Lopez 11. Trent Clark 11. Devin Williams 12. Joantgel Segovia 13. Marcos Diplan 14. Corey Knebel 15. Cy Sneed 16. Jorge Ortega 17. Cody Ponce 18. Yadiel Riveria 19. Jacob Gatewood 20. Carlos Leal 21. Brent Suter 22. Nick Ramirez 23. Monte Harrison 24. Damien Magnifico 25. Troy Stokes Next 12 Kyle Wren Brooks Hall Taylor Williams Hobbs Johnson Wei-Chung Wang Nash Walters Brandon Diaz Victor Roache Nathan Kirby Demi Orimoloye David Denson Carlos Luna
  17. He looked good last night.
  18. I don't think it is that great at all.
  19. Pretty much correct on all. I just don't see the Brewers blowing up the whole thing. 2017 roster something like this.... C Lucroy 1B Rogers 2B Sardinas SS Arcia 3B Segura LF Davis CF Taylor RF Braun B N Ramirez 1B B Y Rivera IF B Wren OF B Reed OF B Some Catcher SP Peralta SP Nelson SP Fiers SP Jungmann SP Cravy CL Jeffress CL W Smith RP Goforth RP Thornburg RP Pena RP Magnifico RP B Suter That leaves Parra, ARam, Gomez, KRod and our two awful starting pitchers to get us some prospects.
  20. I think that trade for Gomez is fair. If they all work out, it is like the Greinke KC trade on a few years ago. If one or none of them work out then it is like the Greinke trade to the LAA.
  21. I guess then that bad stuff is equal to not perfect command and average pitches other than a fastball with a high 80's fastball. Maybe he will drop on his face, I just hope he gets a chance. Maybe he will surprise you.
  22. Please explain the bad stuff. Pitching is more than just about speed.
