  1. The walkup should be even more impressive tomorrow if D-Bow can do his job in the ninth.
  2. 4.2 IP, 11 H, 8 ER, 3 BB, 3 K Twins RH Kyle Lohse = midseason form
  3. I wish I had $30,000 mics for my hockey gig. I'm sure this can't keep up all season, but unless Bush implodes, this is four straight quality starts to start the season. Hard to complain about that.
  4. By the way, I should clarify for those of you who are fortunate enough to not be listening to Daron Sutton. The first thing he said when Eric Byrnes came up for his first at-bat was, "Here's a heart and soul guy". Talk about asking me to get upset with you...and it only took Daron about 40 minutes to do it.
  5. Not enough heart and soul into that one, Byrnes. Stop drawing pictures, Bill.
  6. Sure...the one night I can't pick up the radio feed in my house, so I leave Daron and Bill on to make my ears bleed. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/frown.gif
  7. Bush works 1-2-3. Now we need him to start the home half off right.
  8. As bad as the pickoff was, I'll focus instead on the fact that the guys responded to the Gonzo homer with a crooked number.
  9. It's an RBI, and I'll take it. 2-1 Crew.
  10. Yeah, good time to actually get the pitcher out. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif
  11. I'm sure glad Eric Byrnes used his heart and soul to pound that ball over El Caballo. If it weren't for Byrnes' heart and soul, that ball would have ended up in JJ Hardy's glove.
  12. I would guess that Cirillo and Hall would be in, Koskie and Prince out. But that's just a guess.
  13. Wow. Did the Brewers just benefit from three errors in one inning? Against a pitcher like Burnett, Mr. Ohka would be wise to make these runs stand up. Hell, we might not get another baserunner tonight.
  14. Doug Davis = OPS machine!!! (1.167 in August...granted, it's only 6 ABs, but it's still 1.167. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/happy.gif )
  15. Why did Ned just get tossed on a foul ball call? ETA: Oh, a balk. Good call?
  16. Ugh. So the umpire is just as stupid as he was last night? (Thankfully, I'm not watching the game, so I don't have to worry about a string of F bombs before I go to bed.)
  17. Does anyone know who's calling the game on ESPN tonight? Yeah, I know...I'm the radio guy, and I should know how to do this myself. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/happy.gif Please let it be Gary Thorne and Steve Stone.
  18. His production vs. His paycheck The fans expected 38 HRs, not 14 or whatever he has.
  19. You can't win them all, especially when you can't field the ball and you strike out 13 times against a terrible pitching staff. Oh, well. Go get 'em tomorrow. That's all you can do.
  20. Am I alone in thinking that runs that score on errors by the pitcher should count as earned? http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/happy.gif
  21. Um...anyone have a chicken I can sacrifice. QUICK!
  22. Actually, don't we normally strand the leadoff double at second? (Ugh. I think this team would get a leadoff double and strand him at first if it was at all possible.)
