  1. And Cameron lays off a hanging curveball belt-high down the middle. Fun!
  2. WHY IS BILL HALL BATTING? Cripe Ned, you're stupid. Oh, and it's too bad that 3-2 pitch to Hart wasn't a strike when Gagne threw it to Zimmerman.
  3. Yeah, too bad catchers are required to hit, too.
  4. And why does Rivera only play once every two weeks, Brian?
  5. Good patience shown by Cameron, as he takes a pitch on the outer half that was clocked at 79 mph, then swung at one high and outside. What are we paying him again?
  6. Hey, good to see Counsell getting in front of the ball.
  7. I say all is good as long as neither team sweeps. You could argue that either of them winning two of three is a good thing, as long as the Brewers take care if bid-ness against the gNats.
  8. Sure, but who says Manny was leaving for good? Hockey players will sometimes walk back off the bench when it's not their shift. I've seen goalies that get pulled from games go back there to throw a quick tantrum before taking a spot on the bench. We'll never know what Manny's intentions were, because Prince had to act like a six-year-old whose brother just stole his ice cream cone.
  9. If Ned had half a brain in his head, the McCalvy question would never have been necessary. The first thing out of his mouth when he sat down should have been: Instead, he tries to act as if it didn't happen at all. Because we all know the media forgets about that kind of stuff.
  10. The sooner the national press picks up on how much of an idiot Yost is, the better. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
  11. The users (outside of me - I can be a troll sometimes) deserve many props, but it's the administrators who deserve most of the credit. Leadership is what fosters the atmosphere on message boards. Apathetic or invisible administrators usually lead to an out-of-control site. But here, the people who run the site are around all the time. There's enough policing to keep the place civil, but not so much that people aren't comfortable posting their vents and over-emotional, oversimplified thoughts, along with the well-thought out and articulate stuff. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif Kudos to all of you as well. (/sucking up)
  12. I'm sure glad we have Prince sticking up for the offense. I mean, they were so good over the first five innings, and they provided Manny so much support. He's such an ingrate for throwing it all away like that.
  13. Wasn't that far off with my Arroyo final line prediction. I'm so proud. Oh, and can we deal Fielder? Just sneak him through waivers and get him off to wherever. No. Then bench him for a day or two, Ned. We can't have that crap going on. Instead, Ned will probably play dumb (wait, he's not playing) and pretend nothing happened. I don't care if Parra told him to pay his taxes. That was ridiculous.
  14. Wow. Bill Hall is going to bat in the pitcher's spot instead of Branyan. Good thing it won't matter this inning.
  15. 77 MPH. Heart of the plate. And Hart takes it. I know he got a hit, but that's a huge part of the problem. I've counted at least a half-dozen pitches 80 MPH or less that have been left out over the plate and not been swung at. I might not be a major-league hitter, but I do know that such pitches are incredibly hittable. Probably more hittable than those sliders in the dirt that we love so much.
  16. The RISP tracker is back in action.
  17. Every time the TV people show a shot of our dugout.
  18. I said I'd love to see it. I didn't say it was realistic. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
  19. On the bright side, Chuck James must feel like a million bucks. He's the only starting pitcher the Brewers have touched up to any extent since Randy Wolf.
  20. Unless you're facing the Brewers. I'd love to see what happened if Arroyo walked the bases loaded, because I'm virtually certain we'd find a way to score either 0 or 1.
  21. For this to happen, we're going to need someone to get a hit with one or more runners in scoring position. It will also help if we can avoid giving up two-strike two-run doubles to the other team's pitcher. I'm not thinking that's going to happen tonight. At this point, I might as well just hang out and wait for McCarthy's presser at 8:15.
  22. How can the other team's pitcher hit a 90-something MPH fastball down the middle, but our hitters can't even bother to swing at 70 MPH pitches that are right down the middle?
  23. You should ask the manager. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif
  24. Don't beschmirch the hitting prowess of Manny Parra!
