  1. Let's hope Wainwright batting turns into a nice mistake... Edit: Dag Nabbit
  2. Yeah, I guess so. I thought maybe the home team would have more say. I guess I'm just taking my frustrations (that the game is delayed) out on TLR. I still have the audio running and Telly said off-air that nothing would happen until at least 9 pm
  3. I smell TLR headgames on this one. He doesn't care if he loses a Lohse start. He would be more than happy to see YoGa get skipped in the rotation. I might be wrong, but I think teams control whether or not the game gets played - then hand the authority over to the umps.
  4. The Cardinals feed seems to be a TV feed also. It's super annoying that they don't describe what's happening because they assume that you can see it.
  5. We're about due for some gravy against someone other than the Bucs. Let's get 'em tomorrow, Crew!
  6. Especially the way they are collectively beating up on the other two divisions.
  7. Trevor Time is awesome, but I would rather have had Rick blast another one.
  8. I don't think that we would necessarily get a great arm for a package involving Hall, but that moving him would free up room in the company checkbook to go after an arm. Maybe even a prospect that could help get said arm.
  9. I hope Dempster hitting here ends up being one of Sweet Lou's classic managerial mistakes... K!!!! So far so good.
  10. Considering I live in Beijing, where there is a considerably larger number of particles in the air, that's probably the problem. Thanks for your help.
  11. Sorry... Should've been more clear. Its a laptop.
  12. Can anyone tell me whether Julio made a mistake or if Bruce just hammered a good pitch back in the 7th?
  13. I'm having some serious issues with my computer and websites that run flash plug-ins (or whatever they're called) I run Vista on a 1.5 yr old computer and it just seems to tank whenever I use flash player. Today it overheated just before Braun's slam http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/frown.gif I've tried using Internet Explorer and Opera web browsers, but have the same problems. Is anyone having the same problems? Can anyone offer some suggestions?
  14. One of these days Manny is gonna come out with the stuff that gave him that perfect game.
  15. A quick check of the weather.com radar shows it clearing up in 'Nati pretty soon. Once it clears up, it should be clear for good. (knock on wood)
  16. Learn to brew your own beer. You can get started with under $100.
  17. From Adam McC's Brew Beat blog: "Assistant GM Gord Ash said it was by design that pitching prospect Mark Rogers worked only one inning for Class A Brevard County on Saturday after missing his previous start." later in the blog... "The Brewers are taking an extra-cautious approach with the former first-round Draft pick, and Rogers will pitch two innings next time out, Ash said."
  18. I live in Beijing. I had to leave to get to school right after Braun got his two RBIs Rickie has calmed me down. I will now be able to teach.
  19. The Buccos aren't really doing themselves any favors giving Yo a 7 pitch inning.
  20. Regardless of whether or not we've given up on him at 3B, I don't want him up in a pinch-hitting role. He's a prospect and he should be getting playing time. Period. Although the sample size is small, one glaring thing is that we don't have that second veteran bat off the bench. (Kapler) Young guys don't seem to get in the right frame of mind to be off and on bench players. Counsell and Kapler seem like they're always ready to go. Brad, on the other hand has managed to strike out in almost half of his ABs (8 of 18). Unless we have a veteran to put in one of these places, I don't see the point in losing control of a slumping player just to put another youngster into a spot where veterans just seem to do better.
