  1. Yet alot of comments coming In from Astro fans that 5 mil, picks and the suspensions were worth it for a world series
  2. Not finding a clear recovery aside, I was curious why we didnt win the challenge for recognizing that the player fumbled but I came across this rule: When an on-field ruling is down by contact, and the runner clearly fumbled the ball, the ball will be awarded at the spot of recovery to the team that recovers the ball in the immediate continuing action. If there is no clear recovery, the ruling on the field stands. Call on field stands = no winning the challenge
  3. If I was a Chiefs or Texan fan, I'd need a DD too
  4. I would think the chances are greater to convert the 4th and 1 vs the fact point. Especially when you factor in field position.
  5. Well if the first GB/Minn game taught me anything, its that the game isn't over yet
  6. I thought you were joking......and then I turned on the game.
  7. https://www.mlbtraderumors.com/2020/01/2020-arbitration-filing-numbers.html Puts a date range in as beginning to mid February They can still come to an agreed deal. Mlbtr has another story on Arb. Says Brent Suter are more than 50% apart like Hader. I think it says about 50% were settled last season and the rest went 8-7 teams to players. Betances had a larger spread than Hader or Suter currently do and lost previously. There are some large differences in that link but there are a few head scratchers as to why they couldn't compromise. Case in point Jose Berrios and the Twins. They are in arbitration 4.025 mil vs 4.4 mil
  8. Cubs are too broke to afford Sogard, Cards are rumored to really hamstring themselves. Pirates and Reds are, well, the Pirates and Reds. Whats not to get excited about this season?
  9. Wouldn't jumping on a car in a drunken stupor qualify as jackwagon behavior? Did he try to Bo Duke it?
  10. I actually like Aldi's brand frozen pizza. Cheap, filling, but have to be careful of any meat pizzas because it then gets a bit greasy. What is bugging me is that a section of my fence blew down in last nights storm. Not a huge deal, but I have to deal with my 2 puppers as well as my neighbor's 2 dogs.
  11. .....and The Raptor
  12. Screens?
  13. Here I was hoping it was created by BF like Jim Diego Edmonds
  14. The Pike Place Market in Seattle has a bet with the Milwaukee Publoc Market and the loser has to give over regional food. I dont know who gets to get the food exactly but I hope I can get some smoked salmon and coffee!
  15. Things are at least a little more with the Baltimore TD
  16. After SF beat Minn, I was going to predict that only the Ravens could beat the NFV champion but that might have been too hasty.
  17. 81 yards so far by Minn Even GB had over double that.
  18. This could probably go in all of the signings the Brewers have had this offseason, but I think a lot of people's angst is that none of these acquisitions are sexy. Compared to last year which was sexy as hell. I think the margin for error this year is a lot bigger, but I trust Stearns & Company in all their number crunching.
  19. Looking at the points scored/against; The big difference is the defense. Our median PF 23 to their 27 but PA is 18 vs 27. We have been held under 20 3 times compared to Seahawks 4. Seattle has given up 25 points or more in 9 games but for us, only 3. Maybe it's just the winning ugly factor but I can see how the pack are more heavily favored than other games.
  20. If the Brewers supposedly are close to the bottom in minor league talent, then like the parent club, they have outperformed expectations/evaluations. According to Mad's counter, we had the 24th best record. Call it luck/ good management/whatever but when an organization top to bottom does better than people think they should, color me impressed.
  21. It's nice that CC isnt a lame duck but it's also not guaranteed to stay around for the length of the contract. Weren't the brewers paying 3 separate managers at one point? That being said I believe in CC and hope he is around for even longer.
  22. I think he is just depth but I hope he makes it just so the kid announcer can belt out his epic name.
  23. Would that become HeaMo or LoLy?
  24. Those %'s feel close though I might bump GB close to 50 and Sea close to 40. I feel like if its blowout, there's a better chance GB puts up a clunker than Sea.
  25. Kodi was always a guy that I thought could put it together. Props like you said for getting something worthwhile out of him.
