  1. FWIW, the name is more accurate but of all things needing changing, I would have thought changing the name would be near the bottom of the list. That being said I probably in the future will say that X player got hurt at Miller Park and will go on the DL.
  2. He was awake and ambulatory. Does he really need to be ambulatory to be up to something? Wouldn't he be down to something then?
  3. 10mil option year or 5 mil buyout. I wonder if we will ever see any creative accounting where the buyout is almost the same as the option.
  4. What was the last double digit year contract that relatively was decent. Jeter? I know a few are still TBD. Votto might have a chance. If you count the extension, Brauns overall contract might stand up despite him not doing as well as many thought he would.
  5. Because of medications I've had to abstain from alcohol the last 2 months or so and while I don't indulge in alcohol that often, I'm noticing a decent reduction in my grocery bills. I guess that makes up for the price of new meds. Also, is it weird that on my day off I am watching a double feature of the Holy Grail? (Indiana Jones and Monty Python)
  6. I don't know if the Brewers were ever in on JT but now there is one less landing spot for him.
  7. Yikes. Vegas has the Baltimore line at 103 losses.
  8. Schottzie Schott. What a name
  9. There's questions about Keon's hip. /blue
  10. Neither does Greinke, though. I'm getting flashbacks of college calculus and all the special cases of when equations approach zero divided by zero. On topic, this might be one of those it might work in theory but in reality would never happen trades.
  11. On that same topic my sister's 20 year old cat is on its last life and I know she's going to be devastated. I'm not sure how much comfort I will be able to provide.
  12. What the hell was Brian Gutekunst, Mark Murphy, and whoever else thinking when they didn't pay the price for Khalil Mack and dumped a load into Jimmy Graham instead? I believe they offered the same thing the Bears did. Difference being, Oakland thought the Bears draft picks were going to be higher than the Packers picks. Oops. I'm not saying I even believe this, but one could argue that between the bears and packers, whoever's draft picks Oakland got, would be the worse set of picks either way.
  13. Man, I will never be able to understand all the trade and salary cap rules.
  14. It seems to me that more and more arbitration numbers are not equaling a player's value
  15. Hornibrook was very nightmarish. 3 Int's and a lost fumble.
  16. That would make for great drama and I like our chances. I believe that Hill pitching last night was foreshadowing of Kershaw throwing those big benders tonight. Speaking of baseball drama, this conversation about Kershaw pitching tonight reminds me Randy Johnson in Little Big League
  17. Not sure where to put this but I wonder what the Dodger players think of Machado. I suppose elite baseball can cover up his attitude, but that can't help the clubhouse at all.
  18. I know it's 1 am central time but this strike zone is getting even more frustrating Go Brauny!
  19. To play devil's advocate, doesn't the 8th hitter normally have to swing more than typical because he has the pitcher behind him?
  20. Small Sample Alert but Arcia has just as many homers in the playoffs as the regular season
  21. We clinched the playoffs in St Louis. We clinched the division in Chicago. We clinched the NLDS in Colorado. Therefore we clinch the NLCS in LA which means we win the next two games!
  22. To put in perspective, the brewers have gone 24 and 6 in their last 30 games.
