  1. If you had told me that Rodgers wouldn't even hit 200 passing yards I would not have liked our chances.
  2. I'm glad he stepped out. Let's burn so.e more clock and still score to put this to bed.
  3. Fields is a running qb, Rodgers, at this point of his career, really isn't. So to me, the difference is that as a defender you are expecting Rodgers to go down well before it got close so if a defender were to hit him in the head it would more likely be with intent. On this play, fields was juking and in the middle went for the slide. Douglas, trying stick with him is starting to go down to his left and starts to lower his head for the tackle(where he makes his mistake) as fields is starting his slide. Obviously the slide brings fields head even with Douglas' head and it looks bad. I would also say it looks like Douglas did do what he could to avoid hitting him with his helmet, but still made contact. Why I don't think it should have been a penalty is because I don't feel like he had enough time to avoid contact based on his momentum after the start of the slide. He's a running quarterback and it would be stupid for the defender to expect a slide there.
  4. Based on the sliding/targeting rules, that is absolutely a penalty. A super stupid play by Douglas. To me it looks like he's starting to tackle before the slide and then I didn't get a great look at it but I think it was mostly shoulder Douglas hit him with. Still agree it wasn't a smart attempt.
  5. I think he does have both feet in, I just can't say what they would deem as control though.
  6. Ugh. Frankly that shouldn't be a penalty on us.
  7. That was very close. I'm not sure who the dlineman was, but if crossed the line it wasn't by much. The bears reacted after the snap.
  8. It's always frustrating on plays like that 4th down where the sideline view is going to be the one you want to see, but all we saw before the commercial were anything but the sideline view.
  9. I am optimistic this off-season will be a fun one for us.
  10. Impressive play call at the end for Jacksonville there. Didn't expect there to be enough time to get a first down and call a timeout before time expired.
  11. Somehow it seems fitting that our season hinged upon yelichs ability to reach base and he did not.
  12. And our last handful of runs have been stuffed, so that's not a great idea.
  13. If he needed the exact 31, he's short.
  14. Something in that Cincinnati water apparently.
  15. Merry Christmas everyone! Packers already opened their gift whose next?
  16. Frankly, after the miss by the Bengals this is what I expected. Now to make it!
  17. Interesting. If he misses we have a chance
  18. Already at least the 3rd xp missed today. Both pats and Texans have missed one as well. 5th. A second for the Texans and jags 1 as well.
  19. That was impressive by Barnes.
  20. So is tripping only called if he falls down?
  21. Jets being dumb and not kicking the fg after the bug completion and timeout with 35 seconds left, and now a sack. And now they will kick the fg and have wasted 13 seconds and their last timeout.
  22. The Brewers are undefeated at home in the NLDS, right? And they’ve never lost game 1 of a playoff series in the Miller Park era. I believe we lost to Philly in game 4 in 2008?
