That isn't what anyone is implying ... Even RRR said in his post game he wish he would have pulled Lohse sooner
  2. Bombers
No, it's on Lohse. Yeah he was in there longer than he should have been but he just didn't have it today. Luckily for us, those days have been few this year. True ... But you would hope your manager could see he didn't have it a little sooner
  3. Bombers
This loss is on RRR for leaving in Lohse while he gives up 9 runs in 4 innings. Not sure what Estrada is there for
  4. Bombers
In the k-rod signs for 3.5 million thread: Bump ... Good call TLB and JB ... Neshek was one of the best signings this past off season
  5. Bombers
It is what it is RRR - pull him

A lot is made of Reynolds because of his low AVG and high K rate but he has a higher OBP than Davis and has more home runs in 80 less AB ... And segura has a .267 OBP - which Reynolds is significantly better. So 1B while bad isn't the only problem.

Cards lineup ... No AJ P
  8. Bombers
Parra in the 2 hole today - I like this lineup - let's get some runs early and often!!

I think that is ridiculous. You've raved about DM. Then you make these guarantees such as the one you made when you guaranteed that the Brewers would trade for Morneau. Well....sorry, but the Rockies have a say in the matter as well and they flat out said he wasn't available according to Melvin who was clearly frustrated with the lack of teams willing to deal. And didn't you say the Brewers would be TEN GAMES ahead of the Cardinals by the ASB, then by the 1st of September? So now he's worth 11 more wins than who we have currently and he's cost us the playoffs using your logic? Again, this is all moot if the team you're trying to trade with won't trade with you. Melvin has put together a team that is 1 game behind the Dodgers who have 2.5 times the payroll we do in the National League and are 3 games up on the Cardinals in the division. Not sure how that translates to a lack of job security. Trading Nelson, Arcia, Coulter and Taylor and then giving Price 8 years and close to 200 million would have been grounds to fire him IMO, a move you were adamantly advocating. I agree HiAndTight what a ridiculous suggestion that Melvin should be fired. He has put together a team who is competing for a division title and it's August. How in the world would that result in him being canned? PFX just wants Melvin canned because none of his guarantees are coming true ...

@AdamMcCalvy: K-Rod with his second straight one-out save, and #Brewers hang on. They'll leave St. Louis on Sunday night in first place.

    For those watching ... Safe?

    Nice inning Peralta!
  19. Bombers
Going for the 10-run HR there on some of those swings. No doubt - so frustrating
  20. Bombers
So lame ... Let him off the ropes again
  21. Bombers
Davis - why swing on a low and away 2-1 curve? That was way outside
  22. Bombers
Woohoo - Braun and GoGo finally end their 0 for streak!
  23. Bombers
And Gomez had an even worse streak. Since their last AB last Sat they both had 0 hits and Braun had 1 walk. Glad to see GoGo get a hit there ... Now Brauns turn

2 game lead on the division on Aug 1st. We are heading into a weekend series vs the Cards. Brewers starters have been amazing this year. Keep it going! Brewers hitters had a pretty forgettable July. Let's flip the page to August! Go Brewers!

The dust has settled, trades were made ... So who do you have marked to play in October? NL - I am going to go with 1. Dodgers 2. Nationals 3. Brewers 4. Cardinals 5. Giants Cardinals will play Dodgers in NLDS, Brewers vs Nationals AL 1. A's 2. Tigers 3. Orioles 4. Angels 5. Yankees Yankees vs As in round 1 (Angels get upset) ... Orioles at Tigers.
