  1. Seems like a lot of traveling for the Brewers right before the season starts. Arizona to Montreal and then to Milwaukee over a few days.
  2. That doesn’t mean the ticket holders weren’t in the stadium somewhere. They could’ve had a table on the Johnson Controls deck, could’ve been sitting in the bar on the Club Level, could’ve been standing with friends, could’ve been any number of places inside the stadium. That's a good point. Miller Park has plenty of options for things to do if you go to the game but don't want to actually watch the game. A few years ago I was sitting about 10 rows behind the Brewers dugout and 5-6 seats in the row right in front of us were empty to start. Eventually people showed up and came and went throughout the game. When they were in their seats I could overhear them talking about what they were doing and the places in the stadium they were going to when not in their seats.
  3. Personally, couldn't give a crap about college sports, but since the Badgers have now lost 2 games and realistically have zero chance at doing anything interesting at the end of the year, do people really care that much anymore? Unlike most other sports, being the second or third best team in your division can get you in the playoffs and you could still fight your way to a championship. But in D1 football, 2 losses or more means you're stuck playing in the PetSmart.com Who Gives A Crap Bowl against Southeastern New Mexico A&M Tech who's just happy to have a bowl and is probably going to win because they actually want to be there.
  4. I've seen this lots of places and it's not true. He pitched on April 21 and 22, June 26 and 27, August 4 and 5, August 19 and 20, and August 29 and 30.
  5. Yup, lets' take away every scoreless inning he threw in the regular season. Maybe we'll miss the playoffs and he can avoid personally offending you.
  6. Amazing how giving up a bloop single and a walk, getting a strikeout, and a double play is a choke job.
  7. 49 and 26 on BA list and 12 on Baseball Prospectus. So, no.
  8. Because we will be complaining about something in the "2018 Brewers World Championship Parade" thread too.
  9. Suter has been in the dugout every game of the postseason. He's not there today? Apparently against the rules: https://apnews.com/005278d2bd4d44249a48c2da73f63597?utm_medium=AP_Sports&utm_campaign=SocialFlow&utm_source=Twitter What a stupid rule. Just say he's a trainer. Problem solved.
  10. He gave up a bloop hit off the end of the bat and a worm burner up the middle. Without the runners on base (that he didn't put on), that inning doesn't look so bad.
  11. Amazing how quickly the national commentary went from "Baez is clearly the MVP" to "Yelich is clearly the MVP".
  12. Is that really true, though? The only time I've seen Hader really get in trouble is when he gets behind in too many counts, has to abandon his slider and grooves a FB. I haven't really noticed any difference in how much a team has seen him. When he's on it doesn't really make a difference. The three teams he faced the most this year (Cubs, Cards, Pirates, and Reds obviously), Cards rocked him to an .840 OPS. Pirates .531, Reds .454, and Cubs .386. And the Cubs had the most PA's against him.
