  1. Dodgers have their full lineup. So they should at least put up a fight.
  2. I thought the same thing. Just looked at gameday and they had it well outside. More of a ball then two that were actually called balls.
  3. County Stadium doesn't exist anymore so other than Uecker there really isn't a connection.
  4. Jeffress is easily a guy I'd trust, Hughes is borderline. I'd take a gassed Swarzak over a 100% Torres, Drake, Wang, or Wilkerson.
  5. I'd be opposed to it simply because I don't want to hear/read the constant holier than thou attitudes from people not wanting a "roider" on the team. Reading over your list, though, I just don't see enough positives. As a speed guy, that part of his game is probably already on the decline. Not a great OBP and no defensive versatility. Not a Stearns guy at all.
  6. Like I told my friends last night about a hit from previous in the game, all of these now so-called "dirty" hits are just circumstance. You go to tackle a guy at the thigh and the ball carrier lowers his shoulder, boom, flag for helmet to helmet hit. A receiver jumps for a ball and you go to tackle him in the mid section and the combination of the receiver returning to earth and him curling up to cradle the ball and, boom, flag for hit on a defenseless receiver. What's a defender suppose to do? The Adams hit is somewhat in that category and it's being blown way out of proportion. Adams was falling toward Trevathan. When he lined up his tackle he was heading for the ribs but Adams was being tackled from the other side and therefore what started out as ribs ended up being facemask. His mouthguard flying out and all the Packers freaking out immediately just leads to an emotional reaction.
  7. I would think everyone, except for maybe Hader, is available every game regardless of how much they've pitched recently. At least I would hope that's what they do.
  8. I would think being that these games are in St. Louis that the lineup would include as many regulars as possible.
  9. I'm still trying to figure out exactly where it hit him. Looked like top of the foot maybe.
  10. As Brewer fans, we are used to being disappointed. We've all been saying this wouldn't hold up since the all star break.
  11. It's nice that Eddie Vedder is a Brewer fan and does these commercials for us.
  12. I mean it seems that way but he's got an .835 OPS over the last 30 days. Not Braun level but well above average. I would venture to say that very few of those hits have been extra bases, and none have been in clutch situations. 11 of 25 for extra bases. I couldn't tell you RISP but I'm sure it's not good.
  13. I mean it seems that way but he's got an .835 OPS over the last 30 days. Not Braun level but well above average.
  14. Lefties now 4 for 6 off of Wang this year. A LOOGY he may not be.
  15. And much as these losses the last couple weeks hurt just remember we gave away 2x as many games at the beginning of the year. That is where the playoffs was lost.
  16. Just tuned in, so blown strike calls and blown replay in the first is that what I'm getting?
  17. Basically the whole months of April and May where our bullpen was giving away wins like they were going out of style.
  18. Hopefully someone with more knowledge of this can explain exactly what's going on since there are basically zero details. Is he conscious? Is he in a coma? What exactly are they doing to treat him? From just the scant reading I did on it, I understand why what happened is bad for him. I'm sure he will have lifelong effects from this but it seems like the life or death concern should have passed by now.
