    Braxton Davidson to the Braves.

Luke Weaver to the Cards. Watch them turn him into a harder throwing Jered Weaver.

I know, but just because a guy is thought to move through a farm system quickly doesn't mean that he'll be a farm-system savior.

I'm really getting irritated by the Chatting Cage commercial.

Hmmm, how does Jungmann sound to you? (Sure, Jungmann can be a major leaguer, but doesn't have the highest ceiling)

David Rawnsley, when asked who the guys at PG like better (between Toussaint and Medeiros): "6 of one, half dozen of the other. Very different, actually polar opposite, prospect types but you're looking at the same ceiling. We'd be 50/50 as a staff on them. Very happy for both."
  7. narwhalattack
Seriously? They passed on Toussaint and Holmes for Meideiros?

*cringes* I think that would be a reach.

According to Kiley McDaniel, there's some buzz that Kolek is sliding. According to him, a crosschecker provided him with a mock draft and Kolek wasn't in the top 11.
  19. narwhalattack
Jack Z had the benefit of actually drafting within the top 10, and the top 5 a couple of times.

I'm seeing a fair amount of mock drafts linking the Brewers to Max Pentecost. Does anyone here have sources who could get a gauge of how much they are interested in Pentecost?

The Blue Jays selected Grant Holmes for the 9th pick.

Well at #12 you usually either get pitchers with great control but a lack of stuff, or you get pitchers with good stuff but iffy control.
  24. narwhalattack
They shouldn't be hell-bent on getting left-handed pitchers and ignoring everyone else, of course. If there's a RHP who's better than the LHP, then they should pick the RHP.
