only 4 bench guys, 1 of which is the back up catcher. Saving his bench instead of wasting someone with 2 outs and no one on. I have no problem with the decision by RRR -
Gallardo hasn't looked great but isnt terrible. Our lineup looks terrible today

I am more than ok with that. If he is getting starts up here and earns them I have no problem letting him play

I really hate having Davis on the team if he is only going to be used off the bench. That means he would likely get under 200 Plate appearences this season and that just doesn't seem like a great way to develop him.

Could be nothing but Brewers.com lists Lohse as the 4th starter, so I am assuming that is where he will be slotted to start the year making his debut friday against Arizona

my guess is they keep 13 until either Green or Bianchi come off the dl and then they replace that 13th pitcher -
thats a lot of money. hes a very good pitcher. put him right along gallardo. if he stays healthy its should be a good contract. but if he gets hurt again that will hurt them

I am not ready to annoint Morris the future 1b. However if he is doing good in AAA the first few months I definately would look towards trading Hart or atleast not resigning him and getting a comp pick

People are always complaining that managers manage by the book to much, RRR is miles better than Yost and Macha were and its not even that close to me. The players love playing for him, they have been successful under him. He gets the most out of our offense consistently. Does he make some questionable decisions from time to time, sure. Every manager does and if you were the manager you would to. It all comes down to the amount of possible decisions you have to make. If he had left Kotsay on the bench all season and never started him, some people, maybe not you, but some people would complain about it. People will always complain about something. If his biggest issue is he started Kotsay 10 games and 1 game in centerfield in the playoffs I think he is doing ok

Even if you consider the Kotsay argument. Ok that is one time he played a vet a little to much. Name another one. We didn't have other options for McGehee or Yuni. When we got another replacement for McGehee, he sat in the playoffs. When opportunities have opened up he has not hesitated to give them to young players.

Lucroy had 91 PA in AAA as a recent example. He was brought up despite having a lot of issues with his defense still and he wasn't exactly killing it at AAA. . Lucroy was only brought up however because Zaun got a career ending injury. The plan was not for Lucroy to come up and play everyday. who should he have brought up instead?
