  1. Why would the Marlins even consider a Castro/ Realmuto trade for those players? Realmuto alone will cost as much, if not more, than what Yelich did...
  2. Almost what I was thinking except maybe Erceg in place of Stokes. Reports are that Baltimore is looking for replacement for that side of the infield. If they were scouting AA today, they may demand Diplan.
  3. If the Orioles were scouting AA today, maybe they request to get Erceg and Diplan from us...
  4. I would almost rather see Hader in the rotation as a starter and then go pick up some good bullpen pieces.
  5. Jennings up in the pen... At some point Hader needs some work just to stay sharp right?
  6. Have to get Hader in the game. Not Junior’s fault but can’t let this one slip away.
  7. Might the Brewers take on some short term salary from Detroit to get Fulmer at a better price? Jordan Zimmerman has 2 years 50m left following this season. Don’t kill me on this as it only popped in my head after seeing him dominate the Rangers tonight. Is he finally healthy? His last few starts make him look like the Zimmerman from the Nats.
  8. Nathan Kirby with another solid outing. That is 4 in a row since they have started to stretch him out a bit. He may be the breakthrough guy next year similar to Burnes and Brown.
  9. I wish the Brewers would give a big league look to Dylan Moore before making a trade. Not saying we shouldn’t ultimately make a move but I would wonder what they have in him. He has had a huge bounce back year.
  10. Any reason why Hiura hasn’t played since Friday?
  11. The bad thing about the Shaw and Braun at bats were that they followed back to back walks. No patience whatsoever by those guys.
  12. Darn. I thought Ray had hit another dinger Likewise! Worse is that I thought Hiura was out another game.
  13. I 100% agree with this, for this year. I am thinking of things starting next year since I don’t truly believe we have enough to contend for a World Series this year. Next year we have Nelson back to go along with a healthy Davies. Adding a TOR (Thor or Stroman) guy along with a guy like Peralta could make for a VERY nice rotation next year, with depth (Anderson, Suter). Just trying to figure a way to sell high on some guys who may have value this year before they possibly regress next year.
  14. If the Brewers were to acquire a TOR starter from a “selling” team might the Brewers consider selling high on a pitcher to a “buying” AL team who is trying to win this year? Chacin or Guerra as candidates? The idea with this is to still improve your team, this year and going forward, while replenishing yourself with some lottery tickets to help offset what you are giving up to get that TOR starter.
  15. Just seen this already being discussed in a different thread.
  16. Via Mark Feinsand... According to a source, the Blue Jays have been extensively scouting the Brewers' system. He suggests Happ, I prefer Stroman!
  17. Hopefully the Mets are out scouting him
  18. Stroman was good again tonight.
  19. Found and read this... Gives me serious hesitation with making a deal for Thor. http://www.espn.com/mlb/story/_/id/23516648/real-not-why-expect-more-noah-syndergaard
