  1. Good this game be more nerve-wracking 9th inning. Come on Box.
  2. My one [minor] gripe is the Brewers have introduced so many different shades of blue into their various color schemes over the years that there is little brand consistency. In venue it looks like fans are rooting for multiple teams.
  3. I like this first shirt from the merchandise options, but found the sweatshirt interesting since it has a cooler that reads “Brewed in Milwaukee Wisconsin” that apparently didn’t make the cut for the uniforms.
  4. More photos released by the team.
  5. I think the grill logo is my favorite part.
  6. Well here they are…
  7. I think the “injuries have impacted them in very real ways” narrative has more legs than the “they can’t beat good teams” narrative.
  8. I don’t know who needs to hear this, but the last two World Series Champions [in 162-game seasons] were both 5 games below .500 and >8 games back in their division on June 16th.
  9. Mistakes from both players and coaches piling up this season. The Mudcats have been my therapy lately, but unfortunately they were rained out tonight.
  10. I’m shocked they sent Renfroe there, and surprised it was as close as it was.
  11. It feels like his best hope for success now is to nibble on the outskirts of the zone and I’m not sure he can regain consistent effectiveness that way. That being said Rowdy basically threw a run away this inning, so not really Suter’s fault.
  12. It will be Ryan Middendorf’s first opportunity in affiliated professional baseball. The 24-year old spent the past two seasons with the Schaumburg Boomers of the Frontier League.
  13. Brewers begin their [likely] sweep of the Mets this evening. Apparently Omar Narvaez is 5-for-7 against Mets hurler Chris Bassitt for his career.
  14. Lineups aren’t out as of 9:45am, if someone could post them in the thread when they are available that would be appreciated. Here’s to a [hopefully] happy Sunday!
  15. Turang was a member of the Brewers Area Code Games team from Southern California which includes Brewers scouts serving as the coaches. Other players from the Brewers Area Code Games team they’ve drafted include Garrett Mitchell and Je’Von Ward. While they obviously didn’t draft him, Christian Yelich also played for the Brewers Area Codes team. The Brewers team is usually stacked because they have arguably the best geographic footprint of talent. Notable alumni for the Brewers team also includes Freddie Freeman, Giancarlo Stanton, Gerrit Cole, Marcus Semien, Nolan Arenado, Max Fried, Lucas Giolito, Dominic Smith, Jack Flaherty, Patrick Sandoval, and Hunter Greene [among others]. Here is last year’s Brewers Area Code Games Team Roster: For anyone curious here is a link to this year’s Brewers Area Code Team Roster
  16. Baseball America’s Ben Badler and Carlos Collazo discuss Jackson Chourio beginning at the 48;30 mark: Ben Badler mentions he would slot Jackson Chourio at the top of the current draft class if he were draft eligible (Chourio is younger than many of the others in the mix to go 1-1 this year).
