  1. reminds me of Jeff Dmico. Not a lot of wasted motion, almost all arm, which may be alarming somewhat. I will say this though, that the motion is effortless.
  2. The "Jeff Kent" on his face is a bigger offense then the kiss.
  3. I complained about this lineup in the beging and I am sorry. I have a nasty habit of picking "sure" winners and coming up with loses, so that is no surprise to me.
  4. The part that gets me is that arent George and Randy Wolf really good friends. Since Nieves is Wolf's personal catcher, and since Wolf is as picky as a two yearold hen it comes to who catches him, wouldnt it be fine just to have Kottaras be his catcher?
  5. I guess my point being that your best back ups are Counsell and Wilson.
  6. Lineup = UGHHHH!!! Which means of course they will score 8 runs.
  7. Again if it goes past the bag on the outside of it, no matter where it lands its foul, especially when it establishes it self as foul as this one did.
  8. The second look made it look foul, but it with that said, it would have helped for the ump to turn around and see it bounce. The only thing I can think of is if he saw it go to the outside of the bag and then land near the line. Remember it started foul off the bat.
  9. This is a team of Pedro Ceranos. Throw them anything breaking, anywhere near the plate and they are swinging.
  10. Lucroy always looked like someone to me, but I could never place it. Tonight it finally dawned on me, he looks like Toby Maguire. Random but did anyone else notice that Werth is wearing knee pads under his pants?
  11. The dive was fine since those two runs were scoring anyways, but the effort on the relay was poor.
  12. Outside of those gift runs yesterday, they have been beyond pathetic. At this point there is nothing really anyone on the coaching staff can do. They are taking hittable pitches and popping up or pounding them into the ground.
  13. Pujols is probably one of the biggest jakes in the game today, and yet other then Bill just no, no one calls him out on it.
  14. GoGo walks on a pitch right down the middle and Berkman out on a pitch a minimum of 6" outside, makes sense.
  15. FOR SALE: 26 yr old power hitting first basemen. Asking for slick fielding SS O.B.O
  16. At what point is he considered a legitimate prospect. It seems like he does nothing but hit and hit with power. I know he is a college kid so age may be a concern but it seems like he is always a + in the box scores. I know he projects to an already full corner outfield but you would have to think with his "advanced" age he would be a legitimate candidate for a back up(Kotsay) bench spot at the end of this year or next.
  17. While he is not going to be Escobar(either one), we can all agree that he isnt as horribly bad as was billed to be. I would say he is an average SS. If his batting were better, it wouldnt be an issue.
  18. Reed was the best they could do? Starting to think Boggs would have been the better choice.
  19. To this day I still dont understand why it was wrong for him to be stealing bases when his team was down by 10 runs. If they were up ten 10 runs I could see the reason for anger, but they were losing. I have played the game since I was 8 and I dont remember that ever being in the unwritten rules.
