    Was he hurt? This time of year, any time a player gets yanked for no apparent reason makes me think promotion or traded. Edit: Appears he was HBP so that may have something to do with it.

    Thats because the MLB forced them to use the money they get from profit sharing on their player.

    Of course he is getting defensive, especially when nothing he says is accurate and is getting called out for it. I love Prince as a player and wish he could say, but to say that Prince is more valuable then Texieria is just ridiculous.

    The one thing I consider is the division that Davis is pitching in and also being in the American League, his stats are going to be somewhat inflated. Of course the inverse to that is a NL guy going to the AL and having to add onto his stats.

    He would still play the All Star game as a Brewer, since he was voted in as one. I think that has happened before where a player was traded just before but still wore his old teams uniform.

    The thing that doesnt get talked about much is if they pick up a MLR pitcher, they would be able to flip a pitcher like Bush, Davis or Narverson for a decent outfielder.

    I really like his stance and swing. Nice and compact and wont get cheated on most swings and appears to still be able to make good contact which will keep the Ks down. I hate comparing players to major league players, but he reminds me of Pedoria.

    Not to mention that with him being hurt more then he not, he isnt exactly helping the team either.

    My point still remains, that a closer at that time was nearly as important to this team then getting talent that would be helpful now and in the 2009, 10, 11 years when the youth that was on that 07 team would be in their prime. And yes I realize that they thought they could resign Cordero.

    My point was that All Star closer was on a team that was a couple years away and not really needed at that time as compared to getting high upside players.

    playing the odds that this is just fake Corey Hart(see beard) and that the real Corey Hart will appear after the all-star break where he will lead the team at swing and misses at pitches down the middle of the plate. Seriously though, he is to flakey in order to make him worth the 7-8 mil a year he is going to ask for.

    The only trade you can quibble with in terms of return would be the Lee trade, since they got marginal major league players instead of high upside younger players for a team that was still a couple years away.

    Khris Davis's days in A ball have to be coming to an end here soon, especially being a college player.

    Except Texeria is a much better player then Fielder and at the time seemed more likely to be signable.

    If they are going to bring back someone to replace BS, I would nominate Jeff Cirrilo.

    I cant imagine the Brewers making a trade of Hart until after he performs in the All Star game.
