    The one thing I found interesting was that Melvin said that the search for a SP would be through FA rather then a trade because he does not want to give up any young guys. This is a reverse of what he has said before.

    1070 has to reduce it signal at sunset, which is why its comes in better during the day then it does at night.

    Clear Channel didnt want to dedicate a station for ESPN deportes. Karmazin has a low rate AM station he is going to put it on. I still wish they brought back the Dlist to Madison, but at least Lucas and Lepay is something to listen to instead of M&M.

    That is just want the owners and engineers of radio stations have talked about. At this point there are more cons then pros(in terms for them) to go that route. More of less HD radio looks more like Laser Discs then DVDs.

    Be cautious about how much you put into HD radio. From interviews and stuff I have read most program directors and owners don't think HD radio is going to take off. Reasons like, costs of upgrades and satellite radio make them think it will be more of a gimmick then anything.

    I have it and think its more then worth it. Look at it this way, a game costs $60, that 3 months of rentals at 2 at a time. Even if you only take out 2 games at a time for those months, that is 6 games you got to play. The best part is that games like Metal Gear, GTA or similar games that you play through once and never again you just send them back and not having to worry about selling them.

    How about this for a for a plot twist. Rita or the kid has been setting up Dutch with the phone calls and they again convince him to come over. He confronts the kid but it turns out that the mom is the killer and she kills Dutch.

    It was out of frustration, I dont think he is fired. As for Vic getting away with stuff, you have to remember that they are pretty much free lancing out there and have friends everywhere. If you think it is easy for criminals to get away with crime, just imagine one who has inside knowledge of whats going on. So what is your feeling on what happens to Vic and Ronnie and Shane? I both Shane and Ronnie get gunned down or to a lesser extend arrested and they end the show with a close of up of Vic's face looking in horror/disbelief and then a pan out of him just putting his glasses on and walking away. Basically an artful way of showing how everyone around him life is destroyed and yet he continues on.

    Lost = The Baconator or a Double Whopper. I look forward to it, totally enjoy it and then after its done swear that I will never eat/watch one again. But come the next time I am just as excited, like women forgetting the pain of child birth. It can't end fast enough but I do need the closure. American Idol I feel will lead this country closer to the reality of Idiotocracy. Ty Pendington and the rest of his crew can die in a fiery bus crash for all I care.

    There is no way Sheets is going to except an incentive laden deal. I have a feeling he is going to wait out the initial flurry of signings and then field offers from the teams that lose out on CC, Burnett and or Lowe. One of those teams is going to throw a 3-4 year deal with guaranteed money for 12-15 a year.

    I would be curious to see his splits the last couple years pitching at Petco vs. Away. That is the only thing that would bother me about this. An aging closer coming off a down year(his standards) going from a Very pitcher friendly park to Miller Park(yes I know its neutral). With that said, if a two year 4-6 per year deal would be a chance I would take.

    Thats is just TH throwing darts, what I ment has there been any official statement from Johnson that he A) wanted to get back into big league managing B) Shown any interest in the Brewers. As for Valatine, there has to be a reason why he hasnt gotten a serious sniff of a big league job in a long time. Meaning there has to be reasons that if he was such a good manager that every team that had a job opening pretty much ignored him.

    The problem with Bigfoot supporters is that 99% of the people that head up Bigfoot agencies are any thing but credible.

    Put me down for wanting the know the whole truth behind DB Cooper. As for conspirecries that would have involved multiple people(Grassy Knoll) do to the fact that people cant keep secrets. Unless everyone involved was taken care of by the source of the plan it would be hard for someone not to say something, see Watergate.

    That is because to 99% of baseball/sportsfans have no idea who the minor leaguers are so it makes no sense to mention them until they are major leaguers. You have to think like an editor here, if you mention the minor leaguers you would have to have a couple paragraphs of qualifiers describing each player. Even with those they are still just minor league stats.
