  1. Like I said in my previous post, anything that has mold on it that can be removed should be, which could be costly. Depending on the size of the work obliviously and if you have a leak into the basement the requires fixing is going to eat up that $50,000 very quickly.
  2. In TH's defense, this kind of transaction happens weekly if not daily around the league, not exactly something that is worth the ink to write about it, especially since 99% of his readers couldnt care less about a A-AA spot filler.
  3. Having done some mold removal and environomental work on homes, how you clean it goes this way. -quarantine the area and have all the air filtered out of the house. -remove anything that has mold on it by placing into sealed plastic bags for disposal. -For the mold on wood you spray it with a bleach solution and scrub off the mold or just remove the wood and replace it if possible -if you just cleaned the wood then you sand down the cleaned area to get rid of any left over mold -use an anti mold solution on the cleaned area and you are done Tips to help prevent mold into your home - Limit the amount of plants, fish tanks or items with water in them in an area - when cooking, always run the vent over your stove - This one is a big one, after showering, close the door and leave the fan running for about 30 minutes to get the heat and moisture out of the house. If you are worried about using energy for the fan, dont worry. If you ran any fan from the last 15 years or so all the time for a year straight, it would probably cost you $1, so dont worry about it. - Make sure you have a good seal around the base of your tube and toilet, alot of water seaps under the tube and toliet. More then likely everyone on here with a house, the flooring under your tube and toilet is in rough shape.
  4. All depending on what you get for him. I would rather take the chance that he has figured it out and give him a try then give him up for some A baller.
  5. I remember a guy with the last name Askia or something similar being huge in the spring like 15 years ago.
  6. Macha is just generalizing like all of us do. Its just an easier way of saying, "the kid is pitching like crap and he isnt earning the spot that he was given." Before we all rip on Macha, we need to remember that he has been around him for the last two months and conversed with Castro who has been around him for years, so they are going to know his personality in and out and know what it takes to get to him. None of us here know CV or his personality so it is unfair to critizize how Macha handles certain players.
  7. Pretty much a guarantee that Duffy is the 4th outfielder.
  8. With Cain almost ready to go, Rickie is sink or swim at second. The reference to moving Fielder is in trade not position. As for moving Braun, what evidence does he have that Braun was a poor outfielder?
  9. I think that it is a product of the training camp environment. The repetitive drills tend to hurt areas that normally would hurt from regular baseball injuries. Also "spring training injuries" and a lot different the "regular season injuries"
  10. Duffy seems to be the best outfielder on the team outside of Cameron at this point(minus Cain since he will more then likely be in AAA) and has to to be the 4th outfielder right now. Does McGehee splits work with Hall enough to sacrifice Lamb(tee hee) since Nelson could back up at first?
  11. He almost has to be on the team at this point. If he isnt on the team he will make for some interesting trade bait towards the end of spring.
  12. I would say that Duffy is really forcing his way onto the roster. That JJ kid too looks like a keeper.http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif
  13. Like I said earlier, I am in my second season as CP currently in AAA. My two biggest gripes so far are random games where no matter where you pitch it they hit it, like the computer has to win no matter what. Second for some reason when the other team bunts if you, as the the pitcher, try to get the ball if it gets to the mound you guy will stop and you are unable to pick up the ball.
  14. Whether fair or not 9/10 times they are going to take the guy away, whether or not if he was the aggressor.
  15. You would have to think at this point in the eyes of the organization that Cain is ahead of Gwynn. I am not sure there is an aspect of the game that Gwynn is better at and combine that with age the future for Gwynn in the Brewer organization seems short.
  16. one of the 15 or so horrible movie incarnations of "The Punisher" ?
  17. Try being in the construction field for the last 11 years and having a 2 yr old and trying not to swear. In my field swearing is just part of business, everyone from laborers, to management and vendors swear in normal conversation.
  18. I made a CP pitcher for the Brewers and the one thing I noticed is you can go two, three games in a row mowing people down and then all of a sudden you hit a game where the computers starts getting hits no matter where you pitch it. I had a guy hit a Homer off me with a pitch parrarell to his eyes and then the next guy take a splitter away off the ground and pulled to the fence. The hitting is alot harder then it was last year. I was on base once and even though didnt get much work with it I am not a fan of the new base running mechanic.
  19. McGehee playing catcher is really trying to force himself onto the roster, hitting HRs tends to help too.
  20. I took an online Physics course. Try typing out formulas long hand on word and you can see how I enjoyed it. I had a math teacher for algebra that didnt require numbers being used, just the letters. You broke down equations to the point you needed to fill in the numbers and that was your answer. He reasoning being that he didnt need to know that we could use calculators, just that we knew how to work the equations. Also all tests were open notes, again his reasoning being that in real like situations if you do not remember an equation you are going to look it up, he just wanted to know you knew which one to use and how to use it.
  21. I could be off a bit here, but sponsorships on the car arent nearly as important as it is on the clothing etc. Take Matt Kenseth for example, every piece of clothing and memorabilia of him that is sold has Dewalt plastered all over it which is free advertising for them.
  22. Ulysses also kills all the suitors of his wife on his return. So if Jack is considered Odysseus does that mean he is going to kill Sawyer?
  23. Thank god the national nightmare is over. Can you imagine Boston without Varitek...I shiver at the thought.
  24. It is getting horrible reviews, basically saying that there is more to offer in franchise modes of the previous baseball games then this.
