  1. If the point is to make reactionary post in the in game thread every time a pitcher gives up a few singles then sure I don't get it. 2 runs in 4 innings is not infuriating, and one of those runs is largely attributable to a bad throw on a stolen base. No the point is that Greinke all year seems to space out in games and then snap out of it. Its like he cant pitch his best unless there is some pressure.
  2. Weird, I enjoy watching Grienke pitch far more than any pitcher on the Brewers, and probably more so than just about any pitcher in the majors. You write this after he gives up two singles, in a scoreless inning? How infuriating is that? He refering to the fact that he can go from a #1 pitcher to a #5 and then back to #1 as if he is just bored.
  3. McCalvy on Twitter And if my aunt had balls she would be my uncle. What do the two have to do with each other. You would think if there is a favorable match up you put him in there. Its not like Casey is going to get worse because he doesnt play a game. And on the flip side, its not like he is going to turn into Braun because he had a good game yesterday.
  4. Prince has been pretty pathetic this homestead. Wonder if he is wearing down?
  5. silver lining time. They win tomorrow, they are still up 9.5 games.
  6. Get alias on this, but how many teams have a GS by a pitcher and have given one up to a pitcher in a year, let alone two.
  7. Been close to 10 years and he is still yoked. Granted he was huge already coming out of college.
  8. McGwire still looks like he could go out there and go toe to toe in the cage with the players in a HR contest.
  9. Not sure I like Braun dapping up Reggie after the single.
  10. You werent going to turn two on that play. You need to wait back and get the sure out.
  11. This is my fault, I took the Brewers at -1-1/2 just turned on the game to see the 6-1 lead.
  12. Morgan is jogging to catch that, Gomez is camped out and waiting for it. Why Morgan is still on the bench I have no idea.
  13. Out of context, the comment from McCarver saying he didnt realize Rickie was so big until he saw him in the locker room is pretty funny. Not Hawkins asking Stan Kyles if Mary Jane was his favorite candy, but up there.
  14. I wouldn't go that far. We need Braun in the lineup. I'll take a stern talking to but no reason to sit arguably our best player simply because he got tossed (which rarely happens). Agree, a fine will do.
  15. That pitch was right down the middle above the knees. That is the definition of a strike, what Corey was thinking, I have no idea.
