    Can people who think keep comparing Nelson to one player try to remember that other guys such as Rick Ankiel, Josh Hamilton, Troy O'Leary, Brian Dabauch, John Jaha, Trot Nixon etc. who are either stars or players that played for quite a few seasons? This crap about how serviceable only will matter after his career is over. The guy was once our minor league player of the year and hearing one person compare him to Nelson Cruz means nothing until he gets a chance to play in baseball. Wave Josh Hamilton and Rick Ankiel because they did nothing....VENT OVER....

    Where do you get your information from? LuCroy a reserve and Nelson "little value"? Are you even aware that Nelson was our Minor League player of the year at one time? My god....

    LuCroy is by far to be more polished and a better hitter than Salome. In fact, I would rather have Salome in the deal over LuCroy at this stage. I will be extremely disappointed if we dealt Bryson, LaPorta, and LuCroy to get Sabathia unless the final result is a World Series appearance.

    I am glad Lady Marmolade is pitching. Hopefully, the dead are continues and Lou has to use him every time Hardin pitches.

    The problem is that Rusch is a journeyman and a spot starter now. There is no reason for the horrible hitting against the guy. I can agree with someone like Kevin Slowey but Rusch? The guy sucks.

    Suppan starting is very realistic, but it's hardly a dream. A dream is dealing him to the Yankees for a semi-prospect.

    Shouse let Hawpe take him deep to finish off the Sheets blown game in CO. He gave up the tying run in Minny in the Friday blown game. Shouse is letting inherited runners score alot.
