  1. At least Peavy is throwing a bunch of pitches early.
  2. Remarkable how afraid of Craig Counsell the Padres have been this series. Five walks, wow.
  3. Off subject, but LaPorta with a nice game for USA today. 3 run HR in a 7-0 win over the Dutch.
  4. Of course Nix is batting third, he's playing LF! Duh!
  5. Since the Brewers are "going for it," the bar is set for World Series. Its Gonna Happen!
  6. Walks are no good, 2-0 Cubs and probably ballgame.
  7. 0R 1H 1st for Cubs. Keep the zeros coming please, Morton.
  8. Good to see Chipper and McCann back in there. Go get em Bravos!
  9. Most of the information on a Wiki is referenced (often times with a footnote). If the matter is not verified, Wiki will usually let you know. Its not like people make up everything on that site. This is a big misconception about a wiki. For the information to be reliable, both on a wiki and everywhere else, a source or reference should be noted. This is usually the case on Wikipedia. I want Yo back so bad it hurts, but I don't want a 50-80% Yo back. It bothers me how Cubs fans can reference the injury to Soriano as to why they aren't up on the Brewers more, but they selectively forget about the Crew's #2 pitcher going down in his 4th game of the year. With a healthy Yo all year, I could see the Brewers on top of the Cubs at this point.
  10. Its really encouraging to see the Crew is up by more in the Wild Card than the Cubs are up in the division. I'm hoping for a Brewers win and a Cubs/Braves split today. That would keep the heat turned up for me.
  11. Great to see American thinking at work to make an extra buck selling overpriced t-shirts. I wonder if they needed that "player's" permission to trademark the likeness of this "movement."

  14. 2 walks for Craig today all but guarantees his presence in the starting lineup tomorrow. This is my anticipation vent. You blow my mind Ned Yost. You completely blow my mind and defy all logic and reasoning. I feel like going to work tomorrow and start working with a paper and pencil rather than my computer, just because the paper and pencil create a gritty feeling in my hand compared to my more productive laptop.
  15. And That, how low did that number get for the Brews last year?
  16. Maybe Craigers can spell Hardy tomorrow?
  17. This gave me deja vu. Did someone say "game over" or something?
  18. Like clockwork, the Soup starts heating up mid August.
  19. I can't believe Gerut hit that one out. That pitch was down around his ankles, and he hit it Soriano style. Soup's still lucky he's in petco, he might be losing this game if he was anywhere else.
  20. There are a bunch of screaming girls at this game that won't shut up. It sounds like they put a carnival ride in the stands to keep the fans entertained throughout the games.
  21. I haven't seen him yet, but I hard Bill on the D-List this morning and he mentioned how Matt V. wasn;t going to be in San Diego. I found this story. http://www.signonsandiego.com/sports/page2/20080808-9999-1s8mediacol.htm I had no idea, thanks for the link! Its pretty obvious Suppan should not pitch in July.l
  22. Just switch to NBC, he's in New York hosting the Olympic in-studio show. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif Really? I haven't seen him on there. Just a lot of Bob Costas with an older, manly looking/sounding woman talking about non-Olympic events happening in China. Edit: the Olympic studio show is barely watchable, imo.
  23. I knew you could do it craig! Way to scrap out a walk.
  24. Kind of sounds like Brian and Bill are having a little on air rift over the Prince reaction. I wish the SAP button on my remote would give me the Matty V. feed.
  25. Wow soup, he couldn't be getting any luckier right now.
