    Abner's first save since April 2, 2024. After which he'd lose the closer's role, (literally) fight his way to a demotion, then suffer a season-ending injury playing hacky sack in the clubhouse. A really nice turnaround for the kid.

    Liked him a lot last year. Can't believe he only threw 7.2 IP for us. Felt like more, maybe because the 3 opener starts. Can't blame them for letting him go (then Cubs and now Yanks did too), given he was an injured 33 year old journeyman. Not sure how long he stays with the rehab assignments ongoing. Big show of the lack of confidence in Hudson as well.
