    If the AI answers I got are accurate: Bauers is now tied with 2019 Russell Martin for best position player pitching season since at least 2000. Both 4 G, 4 IP and a 0.00 ERA. Bauers is one out from Luis Gonzalez's 4.1 IP in 2022 as the most innings a position player has pitched in a season since at least 2000. Gonzalez had a 6.32 ERA.

    Henderson pitched tonight for Nashville. He and Priester will need to do a swaperoo next time out. Maybe recall Elvis or Rodriguez now and then send Yoho down for Henderson in a few days.

    Koenig was 6/6 in getting through the first inning scoreless as the opener last year. Alexander struggles to get through any inning scoreless this year.

    Methinks Misiorowski would be better on the roster than Alexander as a long reliever / spot starter. Not that he should be pitching in the setup role versus 5th/6th either.

    I'd rather Arnold focus on reality and not offer someone who he isn't going to be able to re-sign than do the Doug Melvin and throw over the old 5 / $100M Prince Fielder offer to say he "tried".
