  1. I definitely have a feeling that Ray is going to be something special. He started putting it together last year and that swing looks pretty.
  2. Why isn't anyone interested in the record breaking snowfall here in Arizona? You could go see 10 feet in the San Francisco peaks, 6 feet in the mountains here around Tucson, 8 feet in the white mountains.... why go to spring training? This winter has been a hoot in the west! Can Bill Hall pitch in a snowstorm?
  3. for the love of all that is good and holy sign this guy. You're a legit World Series contender then.
  4. Between his comments and Buster Posey's yesterday, the Giants clubhouse seems to rival the Cardinals for total number of sticks up butts. Can number of sticks up butts be a new analytical tool please? I’m pretty sure Brian McCann, “madbum” and Molina took them all. Lots of sticks.
  5. I would love to eliminate Arby’s. They’re terrible. Just like pants. Can we burn our pants too?
  6. I think we're in a lot of trouble if Jeffress isn't a high leverage pitcher this season. We have to rely on a dominant pen to succeed and he seems like a rare type of guy that would dial in and be better if they offered him a deal in this realm. At some point we're going to have to solidify cornerstones of the bullpen for at least a few years- you can't just get excellence year in and year out with reclamation projects and newbies. Trade them close to free agency, lock one or two up long term.
  7. Youd be very wrong to use the word "cheap" for any reason next time. Fair enough! You would know lol. I'm simply suggesting it would be mutually beneficial since the large bulk of his success has been in Milwaukee. I'm not saying at his current ~3.2 million dollars, by any means my good sir. Heck, let's start a go fund me. I'll donate 100 to keep Jeremy around.
  8. I would definitely deal Him after this season. Establish Williams and houser as replacements. Keep one or two main pieces and turn over the rest. I think Jeffress would sign a 3/4 year deal for cheAp since he only has success here.
  9. This is excellent news-I still think we'll make a move for a lefty, but positive reports on Nelson aside from hopes and dreams haven't happened until now.
  10. I'm gonna go with Miley 2/12. I don't see any of the remaining FAs getting anywhere near what they want. Heck, they may be able to get Gonzalez too on a 3/21 or something. Those darn owners wanting to get the most for their money!
  11. How the giants stumbled into those World Series titles I’ll never know. They have been run horribly forever. Maybe they’ll finish third in the west if they pull this off?
  12. That’s a good summary of DS and the organization as a whole. They’re likely using those huge 2017 profits for this year and next. Let’s get a title!
  13. Clearly, we traded scooter for Hiura and simply don’t know it. Me? I blame Royce Clayton.
  14. I think we could make a trade for Kluber.. I think that would really help us.. but it won’t happen.. Why don't you think that will happen? We need to lose some starters and cannot afford to put woodruff/ peralta/ burnes all in the rotation, as a team "going for it" can't afford to stick with a bunch of young guys and their ups and downs. I think it's fairly implied that one or more veteran pitcher is going and one of more of the "young three" will be moved. Kluber is a reasonable target with Schoop gone. They'll get some one like that and IMO they'll sign one of the better 2b's and probably a few minor moves. Will that be enough? I think so. And I certainly have a pessimistic past on here. If we ever signed the overrated turd Harper I renounce my allegiance to this team. We can get any amount of guys to hit .240 and swing really hard
  15. can jeremy burnitz pitch?
  16. The Mets fans are unbelievably dumb. Offering a bunch of failed, formerly mid level prospects for the guy every GM is calling on. Really? If that’s true we could just do woodruff straight up.
  17. The brewers have a lot of young pitching and quantity for average mlb talent. I see trades, signings, and promotions all bringing a much more talented team to the field next year. The starting pitching and hitting in particular will be much better. Stearns is not one for sitting and relaxing
  18. I have no doubt the starters will be better. The bullpen will Be strong. The offense needs another couple major major upgrades. Get a real catcher. Sign Brantley. Real at bats. Real leaders. The offense has been the problem all year. Such a shame they just crumbled in this series. How can the mlb keep allowing this big market crap. It’s boring. Develop markets like Milwaukee and you’ll have more sales and engagement. Big markets draw no matter what.
  19. And you lose to Puig. The dodgers don't deserve anything with their roster of human trash.
  20. between the diving plays and bloop hits, I'm awful sick of the Dodgers luck. Oh look another out of shape Dodgers hitter with a hit
  21. what is the game plan? swing at everything? Most of these aren't even within a foot of the plate
  22. What a terrible offense. Have to pull Hader down because we can't scratch one across
  23. If we get beat because of our offense only scoring one, inexcusable. If we battle and lose because their guys execute late, I'm good with that. None of this one run crap
