  1. Kratz, without question. I agree, since he'll likely start 5/6 games and hit .150-.200
  2. Well crap, we can't complain about Pina or Braun for ten days. Hopefully Nottingham comes up and never goes back, like Lucroy.
  3. Good news now we can use lopez when we’re down by one... since apparently that’s when all hope is gone
  4. Perhaps Counsell has as much faith in our hitting as this board. If we're behind, why waste the good ones I guess?
  5. Annnnnd that's the ball game! What idiotic bullpen management. Put your all-star lefty against their best, not some trash reliever.
  6. I go to the bathroom and we score. Typical. Maybe we put Barnes in to put the game out of reach now? We need our fat Albers back
  7. I'm trying not to vomit watching these guys hit. A complete game shut out by this guy is too much. Ah Zagurski. Here we go!
  8. I agree fully. I say we leave with him after the Marlins series.
  9. I guess the question of if we are going to overpay for a bat is being answered. More a question of when and who. Hopefully not Machado
  10. Are the shadows causing these strikeouts? Isn't Sanchez a ground ball pitcher?
  11. Can we be honest about Braun? Does he serve a purpose anymore? At some point you just have to accept it's a huge loss and move on. That said, hopefully Santana finds his stroke and Thames/ Perez are hot so that situation takes care of itself.
  12. If anything is evident about this team this year, it's clear we DO have starting pitching depth. We're above league average without Nelson, Miley (Yeah, I know, he counts), Davies, now Suter, and Chase Anderson trying to decide if he's good or bad. Guerra, Chacin, Suter and Peralta have been the reason the bullpen has been able to shine. Go watch Wilkerson throw a shutout today. Baseball makes no sense.
  13. I'll agree that Woodruff should be starting. One can only hope the speculation that a trade is occurring with Woodruff as a piece, otherwise I hope we're not giving up on him in favor of a journeyman AAAA guy. Sanchez is certainly pitching way over his head, so hopefully it's a slug fest that we walk off with. Go Brewers!
  14. A two run lead worries me. We're not gonna hold them to two or less a game this series. I guess it's time to give up on a Braun hot streak at this point.
  15. Without Derek Johnson this team is down there with the reds. I don't know how the pitching has been so good, saving the hitting day after day
  16. Completely agree. It's time for Nottingham. .250/.300/.400 would be perfectly acceptable from C
