    Stanton won't get one, not missing the entire second half of the season. Harper and McCutchen will get two of them. It will be between Braun and A.J. Pollock. If Braun continues producing at the rate he has been, or even picks up his run production just a little (assuming people get on base in front of him), he has a real shot at 30 HR and 100 RBI. Right now, Braun's OPS is higher than Pollock's. While Pollock has more stolen bases, that won't figure into Silver Slugger. Braun has a 10 home run advantage. Looks like Stanton is going to miss the rest of the year anyways, so its moot.

    reminds me some of a young carlos gomez at the plate. gomez didnt hit his stride at the plate until he turned 26

    wait! I found an update! The original lawsuit has since been consolidated with another similar case. The plaintiffs now include 34 former minor leaguers, and the suit counts Major League Baseball, former commissioner Bud Selig, and all 30 big-league teams among the defendants. St. Louis-based attorney Garrett Broshuis, a former minor leaguer himself, is representing the players.     im having a tough time finding any update since February when the federal judge ordered Broshius (the lead attorney) and his team to find more class members with ties to California in order to proceed with the suit http://www.providencejournal.com/article/20150221/Sports/150229787 they also tried to move the case from California to Florida (I think because the number of affected players are greater in Florida than in California?) http://www.pressherald.com/2015/02/13/lawsuit-seeks-better-pay-for-minor-league-baseball-players/

    considering Stanton has more HR's (27) and 67 RBI's in almost half the at bats as the rest of the OF in contention i'd be shocked if he doesnt get one of the three slugger awards.

    a handful will happen on the 1st, but most will wait until the end of their MiLB season first, especially if they're in the playoffs like Biloxi is.

    what that tells me is that their bullpen has been fantastic, but their offense has been awful in coming up in the clutch late in the game.
