  1. No reason to really go into it. It’s not going to happen. I think you know why it’s pretty silly. You’re looking to bait a debate on their draft because you’re not happy. It’ll be okay.
  2. This was a good one.
  3. Me too. That way the Jordan Love era can begin already.
  4. The Bears are too funny.
  5. This isn't a MA thing. They are waiting until they have decided on the season before creating chaos with refunds and such. It's going to be a flat out mess.
  6. Basically. Both are athletic QBs who had up and down college careers. Love's arm talent is much, much better than Hundley's, though. When I see draftniks say that Love's closest comparable is Mahomes, it does make me a little giddy. It would be interesting to me to see where his draft stock would've been with a repeat in numbers from his junior season. Obviously you cannot do that but if he repeated 36 TD's and 6 INT's in back to back years, you have to believe his stock rises. Even with that said it's hard to find a mock draft that didn't have him around the 20 pick range or so.
  7. I recently compared Love to Brett Hundley, and not in a good way. I've never wanted to be more wrong. What did you compare? Stat lines?
  8. If it was Jordan Love who transferred to LSU instead of Burrows, what’s his stat line? It’s a pretend world but part of college stats is who you’re surrounded with. The guy could absolutely stink but it’s something to ponder.
  9. Let’s say the Packers don’t catch as many breaks as they did a year ago and were like 8-8 or 9-7. Does the mindset of fans change a bit with this type of selection then? I think this team can play to a high level but I also thinks it’s as likely or maybe even more likely that they take a step back this season even with a good draft.
  10. Didn't he lost like..10 of the top 11 returning offensive players, like his top 6 receivers, the entire OL and get a new system? I don't know what it was exactly, but it was a pretty ridiculous amount of turnover. He was pretty dynamic the year before. Yes, but this doesn’t paint the picture that many want to.
  11. I’m indifferent on it. How can you not be? If Rodgers was younger I’d be mad they didn’t try to fill the gaps around him maybe but since he is older, a bit more injury prone, and really hasn’t lit it up much as of late, I totally bet trying to find the future. Will this pick be it? TBD.
  12. History repeats itself. It will be interesting to see how Rodgers reacts knowing what he went through backing up Favre. You also have to bet Favre might’ve had a good chuckle tonight.
  13. It’s why I picked Mercedes Lewis. At least he will block well. The rest of this list is just full of stinkers. That is fair. I was trying to be positive ( ), but it is a good chance that none of them will be productive. I appreciate the positivity. I am going the other way where I hope most of these guys are not on the team and Gutey has found upgrades.
  14. This was well stated. I guess I’m surprised at the fans that are up in arms thinking this was going to work any other way.
  15. It’s why I picked Mercedes Lewis. At least he will block well. The rest of this list is just full of stinkers.
  16. I don’t believe any other league is doing it any differently.
  17. I wonder if Belichick wanted Brady gone. I mean he's going to be 42 and looked like he couldn't throw the ball 25 yards last season.
  18. No idea how accurate the statement that Kevin Hanson from SI has been the most accurate over the past five years with his mock draft but he has Denzel Mims- WR out of Baylor going to GB at 30.
  19. Yep, thanks. I think that the PED use and suspension keep him out of the HOF discussion for sure. However, I don't believe that this will keep him out of a number retirement or anything else the Brewers want to do to honor his playing days. They'd be foolish to. They are an organization that has a very poor history. It doesn't have many great players. Braun is one of them. I believe they'll realize that and he will be honored as such.
  20. I'm a bit surprised that Brady/Bucs didn't try to pry Edelman from the Pats as well.
  21. Ganter was not good but happened to play on a few of our good teams in our history. It is a joke that they have had a soft retirement on his number. Just no good reason for it. He could have been born in the parking lot of County Stadium and it still doesn't make sense.
  22. Craig Counsell. First manager up on the ceiling of AmFam.
  23. Yes, and for good reason. The optics of these pro sports guys getting supplies before the regular Joes of the world would be bad. We already had people complaining that they were getting tested first because they’re rich.
  24. It was an interesting first two episodes. I was born in 84 so I do not remember Jordan of the 80's and just how special of a player he was during that time. It was awesome to see him tear up the Celtics to the tune of 49 and 63 points. It is also crazy that the team was torn apart for really no other reason than they couldn't get along from top to bottom.
