  1. Until airlines are not allowed to transport people all around our country, not much will change. It should’ve been one of the first things shutdown. Screw your vacation. This has spread a lot more than it needed to.
  2. Local golf course allows you to walk and play before they open for the season. Holes are still cut, no flags, but that honestly helps me as I just try center-center and usually it works better than pin seeking. Anyways, I’ve went out and walked 9 a couple of times already. Just wish it would warm up 10 degrees so I wasn’t freezing while doing it.
  3. Yes! They are all flipping insane. I just cannot believe what I watched was real life. That it actually took place and that these crazies are out there.
  4. Tiger King - Netflix One of the weirdest, craziest, unbelievable stories I’ve ever watched.
  5. I hope her are not headed in this direction.
  6. Hilarious. Ours is 5-years old and we made cookie dough with it yesterday.
  7. I know this crosses towards political but now there’s reports that Republican Senator Burr our of North Carolina was warned of what could happen with this virus and he sold $1.6M worth of stocks and didn’t tell anyone of the conversation. This could get interesting to say the least. You even have conservative Fox News, Tucker Carlson, calling for his resignation and facing prosecution. Crazy times....
  8. If I had the money and thought I might be exposed, I’d take a test too.
  9. If Matthews came back on the minimum, I’d take him.
  10. Indiana schools out until May 1st now and have ended state testing for the year.
  11. Betting on something you could never prove. I’d guess though that these private places simply want money. Your money is probably as good as LeBrons in this case.
  12. No they’re not. They’re getting tests because they have the money to pay a private lab. They’re not receiving them because they’re athletes and hospitals are putting them above others. Big difference there.
  13. Yep ... kids specializing in a particular sport and playing it year round from 8 years old and up is bad. It burns kids out. I know there's the "what about those kids in the Dominican?" argument, but it's apples and oranges. The kids in Latin America really having nothing else besides baseball ... and soccer, if they are lucky. They also just play backyard baseball for the most part. It isn’t all organized. It isn’t 10 games on a weekend with a dad coach that doesn’t have the slightest clue what he’s doing or care about his players other than his own son. The travel sports is one of the biggest turds we have going. Ripping people off of a lot of money because people are too stupid to realize they don’t need it.
  14. If one has to go, it’s AAU. These types of leagues have done no good for kids and sports.
  15. I’d rather be poor and alive than dead.
  16. You're naive. How does a high school basketball game become more important than the health of the public? It's high school sports. Those kids will be just fine.
  17. Any baseball is the best answer. 50-60-75 games. Doesn’t matter. Just play. Hell, I was thinking about this earlier that of course one of our window years as a Brewers fan would be this type of year.
  18. Brady is done. He was done last season. It will headline the offseason and will be a storyline next year but he won't impact much going forward.
  19. Whether people have an emergency fund or not, this is going to hit a lot of people hard. And it's going to affect them for quite some time.
  20. How could you not be? I know these posts can’t go political but my god is leadership abysmal in this country right now.
  21. It stinks. That’s the reality of it. But it will be a very small piece to your overall life when it’s all said and done. That’s hard to hear today as you’re living it, but it’s the truth. Keep holding out hope that you’ll get your opportunity to play and compete. But if it doesn’t happen, understand that it will all be okay.
  22. I’m hoping for a half season at least. Although the way this is heading, no season seems as good of a bet as any.
  23. My district took this week off and then we have our spring break week. After that, we have two weeks (as of now) of online learning. It will be very interesting to see how all of this works.
  24. How will that rate affect mortgage rates? Or won’t it?
