    How much is it that the Raptors and Bucks are really good or that the East is that terrible so it pads wins?

    I’ll just say that I think the situation reeks of a kid wanting to be able to play elsewhere but I also don’t completely dismiss it either. Far too often these big programs get away with doing crappy things for a period time for me to blindly think it couldn’t be true. Hopefully in the end nothing is true and the Davis brothers head off to Madison and I don’t ever think about Kobe King again. I’m just letting you guys know what a (somewhat) credible source told me with the situation.

    The average ticket price has risen from $22.77 (2007) to $32.99 (2019). It doesn't take a smart person to figure out the problem with MLB baseball. But yes, let's jack up the whole system to spark an interest.

    This one will probably be able to be shot down in a hurry with some of you guys and your knowledge with scholarships available and such. The same source told me a couple of things: 1- Davis brothers are going to Virginia. It was one of the places they originally had in their minds and now this makes it easier. 2- There will be more to the story of racism within the Badgers coaching staff/program.

    As much as I want to see the Astros punished more, I wouldn't side with him if I were on the jury. He wasn't a good pitcher that year, even if you exclude the games against the Astros. His claim that he was one of the best pitchers in Japan seems dubious as well. That game may have been the final nail in his coffin, but he was already in the coffin with many nails in it. Hopefully more will join in on the suit. Burn that franchise to the ground.

    Do the Bucks push for the 70+ win season or do they let off the gas a bit and make sure they are healthy heading into the post season?

    Why can’t an apology ever be enough in these situations? It doesn’t sound like there is a history of anything with this guy. Sounds like Kobe King using this to get himself out of Dodge. Too bad.

    It would be very odd to thank the man you are accusing of using racial slurs.

    It could be a Prince Fielder situation where we are looking to compete and trading Yelich just doesn't make sense so we hold onto him and bite the bullet on getting a return.

    Trading him would be the right move in the 2021-22 offseason. Giving him an extension may be foolish. Yes, the knee cap thing is a freak injury but he seems to have other things going on quite often even as a younger player. Use his prime and move on and reload towards another run.

    He really shouldn't get a waiver unless he can make a case for something egregious the coach has done to him which I haven't seen any evidence of so far. If you have transfer rules, then stick with them. If you just are going to let kids quit in the middle of seasons and move on to another school the next season, then rip up the rules and just have free agency.

    Moose is AVERAGE. The Reds paid big for AVERAGE. Why can't fans get this straight?

    I don't see Mahomes play all that often but I thought I was going to see more arm talent. It looked Rivers'eque on most of his throws. Not much behind them. I was expecting to see some Rodgers-type throws and it just never really happened.

    Yeah, last year's was rough to watch and so was last night's game until the 4th quarter hit. Not too many exciting plays, Garappolo isn't good and Mahomes didn't show up until the 4th quarter.

    -Sherman loses. -KC fans get to experience a SB win. -Andy Reid deserved one. Happy for him. JLo and Shakira were smokin’, and seeing Bill Murray do Groundhog Day in the Jeep commercial was the icing on the cake. Good Super Bowl.

    On top of the Gard quote here is Tom Izzo: “We got our ass kicked today by a team that played for their coach, played for their school and played for each other. I give a lot of credit to Wisconsin. I just love what [Gard] did...except that it was against me.” Seems like a stand with another quality coach comment to me but could also be a nothing thing.

    Agreed. The uniqueness of how it was shot was really fun for me.

    Maybe King was more of an issue than anything? 1/2-Blue. What a great first half vs. Michigan State. Please don’t go cold in the second half.

    I think the NFL would be more interesting if they went back to the old college football rules from the 50s. Gotta play 2 ways with maybe an exception here or there. I would have loved to see Favre play safety back in the day.

    The source said it is a smoke screen. They have a strong relationship with King and this changed their minds with all he’s told them apparently. But again, we shall see going forward.

    The same source that told me about the treatment of King being the reason for this move also told me the Davis twins are as good as gone. They’re dad is working media right now as they figure out their next move. Again, take that for what it’s worth but I found it interesting to say the least.
