My district simply shut things down on Friday as kids left for the day. If we need to grab anything left behind at our schools, we need to grab it tomorrow. Other than that, it’s shutdown, as it should be.
Crazy times. I can’t believe I’m going to be off working for the next whole month. Bummed as it was my first season as a head coach for baseball too. Stinks. Strange times.
Burnes is pitching right now the way I thought he would going into last season. Please don't be a dud this year. Please pitch to your potential. Couple that with Peralta and we got something real special about to happen around here.
My thinking is if you’re the regular season winner and tournament winner of the best conference or at least one of the best conferences, you should be considered one of the top 8 teams, hence the 2.
I'll take my shot with Sogard/Smoak/Gyorko and the rest of the bad boys over throwing even more money at Rendon. What a hamstringing move that really could've turned out to being for the Brewers if they went down that path.
As a fan it’s super exciting that a Yelich type player will be here for the long term. As someone thinking about their financials and competing in the future it’s a bit of a head scratcher. You has his prime to use up and compete. Now you pay for the later years of less production. Eh, oh well. Not my money. Also puts they MA non-believers to bed, which is great.
The Badgers don’t do their great RB’s any favors as they rarely display them in the passing game. I know there was an effort there this past season but overall it hasn’t helped them.
I will just take guys that get open. I think it's proven that you have to be a great route runner and have good to great hands to make it in the NFL. The speed thing doesn't apply if you can't do either of the other two. I believe Cephus can.
Anquan Boldin was a 4.7 guy I believe. He's a fringe HOF'er. Even guys like that turd Antonio Brown ran damn near a 4.6- 40. Cephus has hands and he showed he can separate at the college level and had some pretty athletic catches. Had he had any what of a QB or an actual offense to push the ball to receivers, his numbers would have been better. We shall see if he can do that at the next level but I wouldn't put it past him.
A 40-time deterring how good of a player he will be? Eh. Plenty of guys have run slow 40’s and went on to very good to great careers. I’d love to snag Cephus mid-rounds.
That would be great. There were rumblings for Iowa when I was living there because they are building a brand new facility very close to the campus that could host a college team if they wanted to.
I mean, after the first reports, how could you not question Gard? So far it seems as though much of it was a big nothing burger which is great to hear. But this idea that you can never question a coach is absurd, to say the least.
This is pretty cool. Happy for Peralta. Really hope he turns out to be a monster on the mound and we can continue to build the shrine of David Stearns.
Top 4 would be awesome with all things considered. I'm glad this team looks to have turned the tides of the season and is finding some consistency at the right time.
Injuries happen. People underperform. Lots of things can occur in a season. He’s a guy that can fit all over your outfield and plays it pretty well. You’re not going to get much for him in a trade so keep your depth and use it to your advantage.
