  1. Good. Now hopefully Kyle Lesniewski can scram and go work for Dbacks Ball. Never seen a more unstable dude about a player not being signed back.
  2. Rodgers has to be better than that. Stupid football.
  3. That’ll do for me. A draw on 3rd and 7 down in the game? Just gross.
  4. $30m per season for a pitcher for the Brewers isn’t realistic. I almost want them to do it and have that pitcher just do okay, just so we can put this silliness to bed for awhile.
  5. Trade or sign for the Brewers? I’ll go with another trade.
  6. Fixed. I want nothing to do with this guy and being away from his park at the price that he will cost. Over the last 3 years: Home: 239 IP 3.47 FIP 3.92 xFIP Away: 209 IP 4.48 FIP 4.64 xFIP
  7. I think Nottingham should work his bag off, crush AAA pitching, and take Pina’s spot a year from now. Heck, I’ll take later this season if he pushes it. Keep the youth.
  8. As frustrating as it does get at times not being able to spend a ton of money and just buy players, it is also pretty great the last few seasons of piecing together resources and beating out other teams. I hope we continue to do that more often than not. I think baseball fans who get it, appreciate it more and more.
  9. First the Urias trade and now this one. There's been an awful lot of complaining early in this offseason even though our GM looks to have pulled off two great trades for this franchise.
  10. I believe there probably have been players in the past that maybe have chosen Milwaukee based on their location. Aramis Ramirez comes to mind. Was there a discount? Not sure about that. But I'm sure it has happened. Unfortunately, some of the bigger named FA's don't hail from Milwaukee.
  11. Why? Because he is right? If it isn't about money no one is going out of their way to pick Milwaukee except very rare exceptions. I never mentioned Milwaukee in my post. It was a simple statement that it isn't ALWAYS about the money as some say it is, so I'll save both of your efforts to complain just to complain.
  12. Boo Stearns for making us wait until December 4th to nab a catcher. What a clown show he is. If he was competent, we would already have 7 World Series in his 4 years.
  13. It’s not ALWAYS about the most money. Sure, find the guys married to women from Wisconsin. Not the Midwest because then they'll go to a CHI or STL. Wisconsin. Oh stop it. Go back to bed now.
  14. It’s not ALWAYS about the most money.
  15. Navarez- 27 years old Career vs. RHP: .287/.358/.431/.790 Grandal- 30 years old Career vs. RHP: .242/.344/.456/.800
  16. Whoop whoop! He was one I pointed out right away and then someone told me how terrible he is defensively. I believe he was rated the worst starting catcher defensively. Guy can swing it though and he’s been very consistent offensively.
  17. Boy do I hope the Reds sign Madbum. It’ll be fun seeing his reactions to all those gopher balls he gives up when he’s in that tiny park in Cincy. Over the last 3 years: Home: 239 IP 3.47 FIP 3.92 xFIP Away: 209 IP 4.48 FIP 4.64 xFIP
  18. There isn’t really an “all-in” move that makes a lot of sense. It’s just something to get upset over when really it doesn’t add up. I’m really not sure why people do it. I get wanting to win but it just doesn’t work that way. They need more than one more player. Stearns is going to have to do his work this offseason and fill holes and get some luck from players people aren’t talking about.
  19. I’d think he would get into better shape with as much money riding on this “comeback” as there is.
  20. MLB SLG: 2017- .395 2018- .420 2019- .525
  21. Villar is going to hit 40.
  22. Can this post be pinned atop every single damn thread we have around here?
  23. Dallas would be fine for me at the right price and years. Good pitcher that could help stabilize our rotation.
