  1. I hope he hits 2 dingers today and this comment looks terrible at 8 pm...I'm sure you do as well I sure do.
  2. +1 The thought of watching Taylor Williams sent a shudder down my spine. I'm excited to see Devin Williams and Faria though. I wonder who will start in Davies' spot? I saw on Twitter that Supak is lined up for that day. Might as well call him up. What they’ve tried to stick with isn’t working.
  3. Well hopefully Grandal remembers how to hit soon or we have another hole atop the lineup like Cain has been.
  4. Day late, dollar short but it’s about damn time some different moves are being made.
  5. Uh, why does his OBP matter in the bottom of the order? So Arcia can strikeout with men on?
  6. Reminder that next year is a 26 man roster.
  7. Always amazed that some fans feel as though these pro athletes are above quitting. It happens more than you think. They mentally check out when seasons end up going the way that this one is heading.
  8. Hasn't Yelich also played quite a bit of 1B? Although I don't think they want Braun playing anywhere but LF anymore and I think Grisham is pretty limited to either LF or CF. CC mentioned him playing there with Grisham getting the call.
  9. Just play Braun at 1B some. Man, it ain’t really that hard of a place to play.
  10. Thanks, Brew4U! You da' man! Braun is doing much better as a starter! Start him more! On pace for 115 starts and 147 games played. But could fluctuate with Grisham coming up. But it’s safe to say that Braun isn’t the problem people are looking for.
  11. Games Played: 103 - Starts: 80 Braun as LF: .290/.340/.508/.849 (78 games - 334PA) Braun as DH: .071/.071/.286/.357 (3 games - 15PA) Braun as PH: .190/.261/.238/.499 (23 games - 23PA)
  12. Stomping out whatever life is left on this roster. The Cubs have probably been waiting for this since game 163.
  13. Grisham doesn’t belong in the top half until he proves he can hit here. I’m not even sure Hiura does with a 31% strikeout percentage.
  14. This is part of the problem.
  15. I’m sure I’ll get either “he needs days off” or “we need LH hitters today” but Braun should’ve been in this lineup. Getting swept is just not good right now and you need your best hitters out there and he’s been that in Chicago and on this road trip. A team struggling to score sure makes a lot of questionable moves like leading off a guy that doesn’t deserve to yet.
  16. I’ve said it before that they may have rode him too hard earlier in the head. Legs are dead.
  17. Yelich, Hiura and Grandal are really letting this team down! On the road trip, yep, they are. Cain is just a flat out let down for the season though.
  18. Brewers hitters with 10+ ABs on this road trip: .368 Arcia (7-for-19) .353 Braun (6-for-17) .350 Moose (7-for-20) .214 Thames: (3-for-14) .182 Yelich (4-for-22) .176 Cain (3-for-17) .167 Hiura (3-for-18) .167 Grandal (3-for-18)
