    Yeah wasn’t expecting him to play all of the games. But he did play 155 & 156 the last two years. Point being he still was the first OF to get hurt. It’s somewhat funny after all this discussion.

    Once DH has to be lifted (when SP leaves the game), the DH can enter the game in any position players spot and the relief pitcher assumes the player leaving the games spot in the batting order. Sort of like a double switch.

    Lots of words for me to read but no need really as I completely agree, especially if other guys continue to not do their job over the next couple starts. He’s not that young and he’s had great success. It’s time Milwaukee takes a shot at it with this guy.

    First it was his spring training strikeouts, now his slugging through 9 games. We sure do find negatives about players we have an axe for.

    How so? Everyone knew there could and would be injuries at times in the OF. I mean my money would have been on Braun or even Cain for the first DL stint but it's always a possibility for everyone of course. Because everyone would’ve put their money on Braun, Cain and even Santana to be DL guys, not Yelich who most wanted to see play 162 games this year. On top of that we have had discussion after discussion about our roster construction and how it doesn’t work. Some people will still toot that horn but it’s sure nice to have good players ready to go in case of injury. Obliques are dumb.

    Not the catchers ball. Those are so much easier for a first basemen and it’s not close.

    The irony of him hitting the DL is just too much.

    Braun at all parts of his career has had stretches of bad st bats. And then he has like a ten pitch at bat and a guy and snaps out of it. Can’t always sit guys in slumps and think it’ll fix anything.

    Badger fan number one but my Alma mater UMD Bulldogs just pulled off a mini miracle to win the national championship. Crazy. Probably shouldn’t of even been in the tourney.

    I am beginning to get very excited about a future rotation of: 1. Nelson 2. Anderson 3. Davies 4. Burnes 5. Peralta I mean this could be next years beginning of the year rotation.

    Sounds like a team that would fold in the playoffs then anyways if some crowd noise is bothering them in game nine.

    Just got to watch the last two innings. Ish. I hate when the Brewers make me feel this way. Need a pillow to punch or something.

    So because fans are dumb enough to fight each other, I should care who buys tickets? Got it. I guess we should probably pretend the two wussy Brewers fans had nothing to do with the fight too.

    Sure am. If they are the ones that want to pay for tickets, then that’s what it is. The rest of this is a bunch of nothing.

    Own that decision? It’s a baseball game. I think we are making this a lot more than it is. And Cubs fans and their media department are roasting us because of it. It’s pretty pathetic on behalf of the Brewers.

    We have enough sample size to know exactly what Sogard and Perez are.

    Same lineup today other than Bandy getting the start and batting 8th. Who would have thought that Yelich and not Cain, Braun or Thames would be the guy missing extended time to begin the year. Baseball is just so unpredictable.
