Brandon Woodruff P I hate bumping Adames down. Get your athletes to the top of the lineup. You’re sticking a base clogged in front of one of the best base runners in all of baseball and that simply makes zero sense.
  2. I’d think Shaw would get a bit longer into June here to decide on him. It’s my hope that Urias just gets going and he sticks at 3B. I’d love an infield of Urias-Adames-Wong. Then it comes down to Hiura. If he continues to stink, hopefully Green is really having a breakout year. If not, we really need to be creative and find a 1B.
  3. Is it? All the peripheral numbers were not indicating him being good anymore. Not only that, but all MLB teams haven’t signed him and there was that weird tiff with his ex-crazy agent.
  4. I think with them having just added him to their 40, it's almost imminent. Really think they rushed Hiura back up. He wasn't even really down any sufficient amount of time to work on anything. I agree there. I think they saw his stat line and tried to catch him on fire in his return. MLB pitchers just execute their pitches better so Hiura is going to have to change his approach and pitch selection if he’s going to have success.
  5. I’m all for calling him up and letting him prove it. It’s not like Hiura has looked good in his return and Shaw/Urias have their shortcomings as well. He will either hit or he won’t. Gives you a better idea if you have to go move for another piece.
  6. The Adames DP play probably gets made without the runner distraction. The Urias DP was a very nice fielding play but he just has issues throwing no matter where he is it seems.
  7. I really love the athletic make up of our team. No slugs other than at catcher and even that isn’t terrible. I love a team that can run. Now they just need to find some consistency at the plate.
  8. Good. Sue his ass if he doesn’t want to abide by a contract he agreed to. Wouldn't it be smarter to just trade him for a haul rather than dealing with both the consequences of losing him for nothing and the stigma and backlash of sending him to collections? It’s one way to do it. I’m not sure why the Packers should care if he cries to the media as they collect his money for not honoring a contract. Simply say we don’t comment on players that are not members of our team and continue to move on.
