Don't Brewers fans get enough pitty? Sure feels like we should. We've done a lot more losing.

So don't bench him and only let him play 5 min of the first half because he has 2 fouls? It basically does the same thing as not starting him as he gets into foul trouble at about the 10 minute mark and then he is out for the first half. This has been going on all season and more so lately. Having him come off the bench after the first few minutes will actually get him more playing time in the 1st half than he has been getting in the last two games. Sorry man just don't get your logic one bit. He's either going to get in foul trouble or he's not. Starting him or having him come off the bench doesn't change that. Either way, I want one of the smartest players and best defensive players in the nation in my starting five, period. I'll leave this decision up to Gard. He seems pretty qualified.

Lol benching Happ. I've heard it all.

No one wants to talk about him but I will. DOWN TOWN VITTO BROWN to the rescue! Not only did he knock down some three pointers but he made the last stop and knocked down the first free throw to make it that three point spread. He's had a tough season and it was great to see him have this success in this big game. Tip of the cap!

If you LOVE a team, you don't wear other teams hats. It's that simple for me. It would make my stomach turn having someone else's logo on the top of my head. The Brewers have little support as it is anyways.

We are so spoiled. So spoiled. Just been so consistent and a total joy to watch. Any win now is just a bonus for this group of seniors. Fun times!

Normally, no you couldn't (or wouldn't.) But you said it yourself, versatility of Villar and Perez makes it possible. At least to start the season. Plus, for better or worse, they seem dead-set on having Gennett ready to play other positions in a pinch. It's not ideal roster construction, but should be very manageable. Don't forget Brauns versatility. Not only can he play RF but we know he can play 3B and SS. He could probably catch in a pinch too.

They arent confortable at all, at least they shouldn't be. You have a team full of tourney experience that has the most wins by any school in the last three years barking up your tree. On top of that, the are playing a team that resembles a team (Butler) that beat you twice. What a fun environment tomorrow is going to be!

I've read some Debbie downer stuff but yours takes the cake. You must be a treat to be around when things are going well. The Badgers came out and even when some players were struggling, others stepped up and made the plays. That's what good teams do. They may lose against Nova, they may lose the game after that but my god man, enjoy a good team win and stop trying to be so "right" about your team. Pretty easy to call an 8 seed having a "big fall" coming up in March Madness.

Tip of the cap to Nigel and Koenig tonight. Nigel was so good, even from the line. Koenig just lit the nets in fire! The officiating was terrible and really kept VTech in that one. Happ was pretty average tonight. He needs to step it up against Nova. Man I hope they win and people tear the committee a new one! On Wisconsin!

The problem with keeping Aguilar is if you don't plan to play him much in the very first part of the season and he becomes bench boy, you might as well try to get him to AAA for playing time.
  12. pacopete4
Oh Minnesota. Thanks for playing lol
  13. pacopete4
Trying to decide what will end the Badgers season tonight (if at all). -Missing too many free throws -Not defending the three point shot well enough
  14. pacopete4
Any chance TT kicks the tires in someone like Revis? He was cleared of all charges today.
  15. pacopete4
Just out of curiosity, why? I have knocked Perez for not getting on base enough but he's played good defense all around the diamond which makes him valuable to any team imo.

Lacy, if he gets himself right, could have a monster year over there in Seattle. Lacy was never really used to full capacity in GB and rightfully so with the QB we have. Seattle wants to pound the ball. What an opportunity he has their for a rebirth of his career.

If trading Broxton meant getting our next Ace to go along with Hader, I'm all for it.
  18. pacopete4
    Not happening.

I think Erceg is going to be jumping a lot of people this upcoming season.
  20. pacopete4
If they do happen to win two games, all we will hear is it is because they are a battle tested group, blah blah blah. There will be no admittance of incompetence by the way they were seeded. Wisconsin, one of the best programs for two decades was disrespected heavily yesterday. Other successful programs like them would never receive such BS.
  21. pacopete4
Naw with that thinking, we best just start the season with Erceg in our infield. He's killing it in ST. He got some reps at shortstop too. It's perfect!
  22. pacopete4
The Badgers slide is fine to point out but it doesn't justify teams like Maryland, Minnesota and Michigan being higher seeds and Northwestrn having the same. It's a complete crock of poo-poo. If the Big10 is so bad, why are those teams ranked higher yet the Badgers finished with better records and placing in tourney. Also beat them head to head. It's absolute silliness.
  23. pacopete4
They have suffocated Indiana and Northwestern. A beautiful display of team basketball on both ends of the floor this weekend.

    Chewy and Jackson reborn

This Badgers team is fun to watch!
