  1. Maybe Trubisky will have a good game which will get the Bears to sign him again.
  2. I feel pretty confident with us against the Rams but it would still be nice to have the Saints out of the playoffs tonight.
  3. I think Big Ben is hard to gauge because he played the position so differently than most QB's. That large frame has taken a beating over the years and he is a shell of his former self.
  4. Can you take 2020 out of it and see the overall then?
  5. Plenty of fans cheer for opposing teams injuries. Packers are usually up there in fan arrests as well. Heck, Google Packer fan fight/arrest and there’s plenty there to keep anyone busy for awhile. That’s the thinking that annoys me. That this fan base is above that stuff.
  6. I’ve soured on the fan base because it turns out we are basically the footballs version of Cardinals fans. It’s been extremely disappointing over the past few years.
  7. Short memories. He was the golden boy. Mostly because he played at Whitewater but the being white part doubled down on the love for that guy.
  8. I get that inter-division trades are tough but the Brewers should be all over this one.
  9. Jake Kumerow release by the Saints. Glad the front office is in charge and not our whiny fan base.
  10. The Seahawks stink. I hope they win.
  11. I wish we would do this. Talk about filling a hole in our team.
  12. It's an opinion, just because you don't agree with it, doesn't make it wrong... Correct. I never once told him it was wrong. Perhaps I didn't state my rebuttal as eloquently as I should have, but I was attempting to point out a couple teams that have made big, splashy moves the last two seasons who he was welcome to become a fan of since he seems to appreciate they way they construct their rosters compared to the Brewers. Those teams, however, haven't had the level of success that the Brewers have had in that time. Which makes him wrong... It's not an opinion. It was a chance to whine away because no moves have been made that he likes or wants. It's annoying and does nothing for the discussion on these boards. Take it to Twitter or some other social media site and stop dragging down the board with your Brewer fandom sorrows.
  13. Jake Lamb about 4 years ago was the guy I wanted. He definitely has fallen off my radar since becoming pretty blah. But on the cheap, I think I would be okay with giving him an opportunity as there isn't much else in the 3B department. Seems to be a void position for awhile across the MLB. What happened to slick-fielding 3B's that can hit?!? Cron does seem to make a lot of sense but maybe they view Vogelbach as their guy going into the season.
  14. The constant whining is what makes it not fun. The same posters cloud up every thread, no matter the topic, whining that the Brewers are going to stink and they don't ever spend money. So spare me the stance you're taking because you are one of the worst when it comes to this stuff.
  15. This reminds me of when Packers season is over, two days later all practice squad players are signed to futures contracts (a completely procedural move), yet the packers will officially announce it on facebook, twitter, etc. It just leads to fifty comments saying "Hur dur, why don't we sign real free agents?" or "Who is that guy?" or "Why don't we fire (head coach, GM, defensive coordinator, etc) instead?" While Brewers fans aren't in the same ballpark of being spoiled brats, they are well on their way. I get that we all want to see a World Series winner here but how anyone can be so down on this organization considering how successful they've been is just nuts to me.
  16. Come on Mets... go after Hader now.
  17. A perfect example of the best team doesn't always win. Team USA had their gameplan and worked it perfectly and got some great performances, especially from Knight.
  18. I can't speak for him but I cannot imagine Travis Shaw wants anything to do with the Brewers.
  19. Making money. Who cares what they’re called?
  20. I’ve stopped reading those things. Mostly because they’re skewed to the teams you’ve listed and also because our last two GMs seem to keep everything on lock down. Saves me from wasting my time or getting mad.
  21. Except Coan is good He may be a bit better than Hornibrook but I think he'll end up as a backup and we probably won't hear much from him. Could be wrong but ND returns their top 2 QB's as well as brings in a top recruit.
  22. Another Hornibrook situation here I'm sure.
  23. Another minority fired at the first sight of trouble. Continues to be a terrible look for the NFL.
  24. I think him buying into the system even more helped too. He went rogue far too often in the last years of MM. Or maybe that was by design. Either way, having him throw on a rhythm is deadly as it was on display this season.
  25. NFC Teams vs. Other Playoff Teams: Packers: 4-2 Rams: 4-2 Saints: 3-2 Seahawks: 2-2 Footballers: 1-4 Buccaneers: 1-5 Bears: 1-6
