If your Turner, aren't you having a conversation with the Dodgers about their plans with Rios? I'm guessing Turner doesn't want to be replaced of finding himself on the bench because a younger guy is hitting.

WR: Adams MVS Lazard Add in a slot/quick guy TE: Tonyan Deguara Sternberger Lewis Dafney RB: Willams / Dillon Draft Pick That should be enough offense to win. Add to that defense as much as possible.

Man, if Edwin Rios fell into the Brewers lap as a consolation prize, that would be neat!

So happy for that Brady guy though. Toss AB in there too. Just ish. Terrible behavior rewarded.

Suh winning a SB just flat out sucks. Can’t stand that guy.

Sterling’s injury just happen too early in his career. It’s a shame. He’s a HOF talent for sure. And with an emerging Favre, whoa would that have been ridiculous for the time period.
  7. pacopete4
Whiffed on a 1st rounder? He’s made it the the major leagues and contributed. There was no whiff.
  8. pacopete4
I was hoping Leonard would make this jump. Dang.

I said it in another post. I would take a stoppage of baseball to fix the economics of the game.
  10. pacopete4
I’ll take a major stoppage of play if it meant fixing the economics of baseball.

I think our rotation will have similar numbers overall when adjusting to home parks. Spend, spend, spend and most often they don’t see the return.
  12. pacopete4
Starting Rotation: Walker Buehler Clayton Kershaw Trevor Bauer Julio Urías David Price

Oh pleeeeeeeeaaassseeeee make this come true!

Kolten Wong has already been in contact with Orlando Arcia. Wong said he's intent on getting Arcia a Gold Glove Award.
  15. pacopete4
Wong gets us more athletic which we desperately needed. Signing Moreland and keeping Hiura at 1B doesn't do much for that.
  16. pacopete4
Don't trade Urias. Use him as the super-sub. Let Arcia play out what will more than likely be his final year as a Brewer and hopefully, with the experience, you place Urias in as SS beginning the following season. No reason at all to move on from either one of them.

Yes, no way do we get Turner. Just like there was no way we were signing Wong. A lot of people shouting that we don't spend money and it just continues to get proven wrong, over and over again. I get that fans complain about things as that is what fans do but that line is abused to the point where it is a running joke. The Brewers can sign Turner. They have their offer that they feel is right for the organization. If Turner doesn't get a better offer elsewhere, he will more than likely be a Brewer.

    Good news on a Friday!
  19. pacopete4
Fowler on the move. And here. Move is for a PTNL. Salary dump. Ripple affect of Arenado?
  20. pacopete4
Braun is just waiting to see us make the moves needed and then he will be back.
  21. pacopete4
vs. RHP Wong- 2B Yelich- LF Turner- 3B Hiura- 1B Vogelbach- DH Garcia- RF / Braun- RF Narvaez- C Cain- CF Arcia- SS Vs LHP Cain- CF Yelich- LF Turner- 3B Hiura- 1B Braun- DH Garcia- RF Wong- 2B Pina- C Urias- SS
  22. pacopete4
I thought Bauer was only doing 1-year deals?
  23. pacopete4
I'm assuming Urias just becomes the all over guy. Can start at 3B, SS, and 2B to spell all of our infielders. The only issue is he seemingly only hits left handed pitching so that helps Wong. Not sure about the other two positions.
  24. pacopete4
James Paxton would be the guy to nab if we are looking at creating a real top 3 in our rotation. 1. Woody 2. Burnes 3. Paxton 4. I guess Houser 5. Linblom This would be something to pair up with our bullpen.

Exciting news, congrats! I had forgotten about this thread. Unfortunately, my wife and I lost our twins at 29 weeks back in late October. It is the worst thing either of us has ever had to endure but we are getting by day by day.
