  1. This would make me so happy (if fans are allowed) so it probably won't happen.
  2. I think he'll be above average for a few years then mix in a bunch of average. And that's if he can stay healthy. I did not have big excitement with this deal. Listen, I love Braun and glad he got to finish his career here but we should have learned that lesson already.
  3. I am good with a one-year deal because he hasn't been very good. A prove it contract makes some sense given our hole at 3B but he's hardly something to get excited about.
  4. Taking away one strategy to implement another. Either have a DH in your league or don't. This isn't that hard.
  5. QB's don't get beat up anymore. They will generally last longer than they ever have and continue to put up video game numbers into their 40's. The rules have all shifted to their favor. I don't think QB's are any better than they used to be. It's just that the deck is completely stacked.
  6. I remember watching this guy in spring training a few years back against the Brewers and thinking he'd do very well. I guess I'm not a scout for a reason. He has absolutely stunk.
  7. I want Love to be a stud just because it would be hilarious to go Favre, Rodgers, and then Love and not miss a beat. So many friends of mine would lose their minds.
  8. Yes, screw the owners. Pay the man!
  9. Hard to get after Jones for trying to get paid. RB's have such a short lifespan and this will most likely be it for him.
  10. It's Dillon time!
  11. I do agree that their coaching staff doesn't seem to use some of their pieces the best but it does seem that there have been adjustments over the past few games in being more aggressive. This was my biggest complaint early on this season. It feels better lately but that, as other posters have said, could be due to who we are playing.
  12. The complaints of our defensive issues are somewhat overblown. Not as badly as the lack of usage of our first-round picks on the wide receiver position but still overblown. They need to clean up their red zone defense a bit and they'd be more than fine with points per game. Heck, if we didn't have such lousy special teams play, that might be just fine too. Even as it stands, they are middle of the pack in just about every category and find themselves top ten (8th) in yards allowed.
  13. Aren't we in the drivers seat now? Yep. This lousy team is now the #1 seed in the playoffs.
  14. If there was ever a season for this type of shenanigans to take place, it's this one.
  15. It was pathetic to punt that ball away and now they are rewarded with a fumble.
  16. Out coached, again.
  17. The post comparing him to Brewers current starter was just to show that the guy has performed at the minor league level. We may never see the guy in a Brewers uniform but why ignore his production as if it is nothing? Makes very little sense.

  19. Uhhh.... Did Stearns just get a rotation piece for a guy we were going to release?
  20. I could see them dumping $8-10M into a player if they get one-year deals. If it is multiple years, I think they go the journeymen approach again.
  21. As far as I know, there is no teacher discount for TV/Internet. -There should be for internet. We selected the middle Unlimited Data package and we have 4-phone lines using it. We are at $136 per month total with taxes included or $34 per line. Much better than I was paying previously.
  22. It's not TV but I saved a bunch of money on my shared AT&T cell plan with being a teacher. You have to show proof of employment but it saves you about 30% off the unlimited plans.
  23. Santana has to make the Royals WS favorites.
  24. The Hall of Very Good
  25. I’m not sure what people were expecting when Vogelbach was resigned. More than likely, he’s the guy.
