  1. St. Brown not on the same page there.
  2. Tough to cut any of those guys. I guess if I had to cut one, it would be Chark. I'd be starting Godwin and Robby for sure. Then any of Brown, Crowder or Woods would be a good 3rd. I kept Godwin on my IR for another week. I’ll wait to see that hammy is healthy. Then I’ll probably end up cutting Chalk as that’s who I had as my lowest of the bunch.
  3. I’ll be very interested to see how they value Arcia this offseason. Bringing him back jams up Urias and it’d almost be signaling that you don’t believe in him.
  4. I semi was hoping for the Dodgers to get their revenge in the series. The WS matchup is rather blah.
  5. I have six WR’s: Godwin, Chalk Jr, Woods, Brown, Chowder, Anderson. Start 3 and gotta cut 1. PPR league.
  6. If they don’t plan on trying to contend now, they should not have signed Yelich and should have moved him as well. Such a waste of resources if this is how it plays out.
  7. Houston winning this series would be so 2020.
  8. I agree with that Adam. I just laughed at all the “experts” picking the Vikings to run away with the division and really, for no real good reasons at all. Hell, even their QB is about average. Especially when it comes down to actually performing in clutch positions against good teams. They lost more than they’ve gained and they weren’t that good to begin with. 8-8 was about their value this season and it looks more likely that they’ll finish about 6-10’ish, maybe even worse. I see a ton of Packer fans that will talk up these great Viking players too and then trash the Packers talent level and complain about the 2020 draft. Many. Many have looked very foolish this year and I for one am enjoying it thoroughly.
  9. Why would anyone have thought Minnesota would have been bad? They were 57-38 coming into the year under Zimmer. They lost some DB's, but drafted a bunch. I think the idea that everyone knew Minnesota was a bad team is a little bit revisionist now. Most people thought they were the team that would compete with us for the division title. And Atlanta...nobody ever knows what you're getting from them. They basically lost their entire defensive backfield. You don’t just replace that all at once and not miss a beat. Their offensive line is absolute dog turds and haven’t done anything to shore that up. They traded one of their only offensive weapons worth much. They were destined to be lousy to mediocre this year. Looks like they’re choosing the lousy road. They aren’t good and have cap issues. The Packers should curb stomp them for years to come.
  10. Having the babies on the way for us have made us cautious of having anyone come to our place down here by Milwaukee. My wife's virtual baby shower was last weekend and her sister was on her way from Wausau to be her one support person for it. She called about 20-minutes from our place and was crying because her boyfriend that she lives with tested positive. She had to turn around and quarantine herself. Talk about lucky for us on that one.
  11. Seattle's defense is nothing special at all. Russell Wilson probably will never be as appreciated as he should be. Guy has ice in his veins and has done it for a long time now. He's incredible to watch.
  12. Why would anyone think ATL or MIN would be good this year is beyond me. They stink. They had lousy offseasons and didn't get any better. Couple that with poor coaching and you get what you have this season for them. Both franchises are in trouble moving forward. New Orleans has been our only real test and that game could've went either way.
  13. Lindblom will be paid $3M for his services each of the next two seasons and could be a downright steal if he pitches like he did to end the year. It would be very foolish to give up on him right now after seeing only a handful of starts as he was figuring things out. Cain on the other hand has negative value moving forward. Attaching him in any deal will kill the point of dealing Hader and it just wouldn't make any sense to do that. We knew when we gave Cain the deal that it would be touchy to finish it. If he comes back next season, he will be only another year older and it may get rough. But hopefully having a chance to heal up this summer will get him in position to be the gold glove type guy out there that we need on defense. Plus all the leadership he does bring. He just may not be a top of the order bat moving forward.
  14. I think it comes with the job. McCarthy gets smacked around by fans too. It's a big reason I've been turned off with our fan base in the last few years. Spoiled rotten with success over the past three decades and it has ruined winning two Super Bowls and how we view people that helped our organization earn them.
  15. I fear for what we will replace him with. Injuries aside, he has played a crucial role in many close games over quite a few playoff runs for us. If a Garcia-type player is the replacement idea for a guy like Braun, it's going to be awhile before we do anything of substance again.
  16. Choi? I’m more mad we didn’t get something productive out of Miller. Hits everywhere else just fine. Could have been a nice piece.
  17. My school board would call him an idiot, along with other not so nice words, and call for him to be recalled. We will go until a student dies and that may not even stop our school board.
  18. Now do stats that actually matter when comparing QBs.
  19. In a season where nearly everything went wrong? Can’t please everyone.
  20. IF Bryant becomes a free agent, just pay the man and put him with Yelich and enjoy.
  21. I like that we go and get "our guys" but like the previous poster said, it often works out worse as you give up to get. And with the high percentage of "busts" and burnouts, it just doesn't make for a great draft strategy a lot of the times.
  22. A pandemic shortened season? Yes. If I was working in a front office for a team right now I wouldn’t even look at the 2020 season to judge a player. It’s just not good data.
  23. I never judge teams on Thursday night games. Sloppy week in, week out. Having these games might make sense financially for the NFL but it is a terrible product.
