    Anyone else cringe when BA had to stop mid sentence there trying to finish what he started with "A little snatch...from the Phillies first baseman."

    I always feel like this is a bad stat when they compare the BAA for a pitcher. The reason lefties hit Hamels better than righties is that only the best of the best lefties even get to play against him. I still start the right handed bat over the left handed bat against him.

    Why is Smoltz such a fan of the Phillies? is it just the Yost thing? Get over it and be a professional. The fans nor the players fired him. I'm sick of him being a cheerleader.

    I think the longer the game goes scoreless its advantage brewers. As much as waiting it out would kill me, I think it would benefit us to have a rain delay too.

    I want to be the ones to take the cubs out. It would be convenient for me to drive to LA but I think it would be nice to go to a game 7 with the cubs and beat them in a heart breaker! How much more intense would the games against the cubs be from now on then? In the AL I'm rooting for the Rays

    I think if it were up to me Yo is my third choice for game 1. Suppan makes sense because of his experience, Parra because he's a lefty. But who can argue with Sveum right now? He seems to be making all the right choices. I love this team I can't wait for Wednesday! I've listened to Ueck's call over and over, I've watched the end of the game over and over, It's finally real to me. It's a really good feeling that even if we lose game 1 we have CC in game 2. Coming back home 1-1 would be huge.

    Lou wants this more than I thought he would. Would have figured they would want Milwaukee in the playoffs.

    I think the cubs won't take this series all that serious. An oppurtunity to rest up and stay healthy for the post season. Why would they want NY in the playoffs? The potential match up with Milwaukee means a 90 minute drive to their road games and apparently a near half home crowd. I doubt the cubs come out looking to win.

    Anyone else catch that the states with the lowest percent believing it was an error were Illinois and Missouri along with Pennsylvania? Cubs and Cards fans voting that they believe it was a hit just to keep the Brewers from having a no hitter. My first reaction was that, that is really crappy. Then I realized if it was Zambrano I'd say it was a hit to just to get under the skin of Cubs fans. (pared back quote --1992)

    postseason I understand having a player that you just aren't a fan of no matter how they perform. I think everyone has a player or two like that, but you're arguments against cameron just don't hold up. He's been great. Compare him to other CFers and see what someone of his caliber costs. He's not underperforming. He will be back next year and for 10 mil and deservedly so.
