  1. Did they screw up not knowing he had 5 years of service time? Otherwise why not just come out and say right away it was for financial reasons.
  2. so even if he stays in the system hes an automatic non-tender in the offseason if this is what they think of him.
  3. Can't wait to see this place after the Brewers inevitably trade Woodruff and Burnes for pitching prospects in the next two years.
  4. 1. CF-Sal Frelick 2. CF-Esteury Ruiz 3. CF-Jackson Chourio 4. C-Jeferson Quero 5. SS-Brice Turang 6. RF-Joey Wiemer 7. LHP-Robert Gasser 8. CF-Garrett Mitchell 9. 2B-Felix Valerio 10. 2B-Tyler Black 11. LHP-Ethan Small 12. SS-Eric Brown, Jr. 13. RHP-Jacob Misiorowski 14. C-Mario Feliciano 15. RF-Hendry Mendez 16. OF-Hedbert Perez 17. SS-Eduardo Garcia 18. RHP-Victor Castaneda 19. RHP-Justin Jarvis 20. RHP-Abner Uribe
  5. If Garret Cooper is "the one who got away" in 7 years, you know you are a fan of a team that has a very good front office.
  6. Jake Odorizzi and Lorenzo Cain had pretty good careers to a lesser extent so did Escobar
  7. Brewers might not have made the postseason without Jordan Lyles and Drew Pomeranz in 2019
  8. Never thought I would see so much love for Tristan Peters, but then again he was traded for a guy who hasn't pitched since 2020 and was a FA as of 2 weeks ago.
  9. I like Antoine Kelly, but he is more Kodi Medeiros than Aaron Ashby from my viewings. The upside people are claiming in this thread just isn't there for me.
  10. Just to get precise numbers on this Pablo Reyes wrC+ of 123 in 2022, 28 years old with 1,078 career PA at AAA Jonathan Davis wrC+ of 130 in 2022, 30 years old with 819 career PA at AAA Esteury Ruiz wrC+ of 145 in 2022, 23 years old with 142 PA at AAA
  11. Unless Lamet shows he can be a lights out reliever in the next two months he will for sure be non-tendered in the offseason.
  12. What I love is there are not a lot of moving parts to his swing. It is pretty crazy how he finds the barrel so easily.
  13. Brewers were 88% as of August 25th 2014. That is why I remember it vividly.
  14. Quero must be injured, pretty please don't be long term.
  15. Great point about Riggio, I forgot about that whole ordeal of him looking like he was signing and then he didn't.
  16. By my count Brewers have little over $500k to use rounds 11-20 for bonuses over $125K rounds 11-20 if they want to pay the overage tax which they haven't jumped into since the 2018 draft. Probably can sign Petty without going into the overage tax, Adams would be a different story.
  17. 2014 draft comes to mind when they went about 700k overslot for Monte Harrison.
  18. Brewers pitching staff gives up way too many homers
  19. Definitely crossed my mind as well. I remember all those knuckle curves that MLB hitters didn't swing at.
  20. For me Quero is on the same tier as Frelick and Wiemer. I know the vast majority of people won't agree with me on that. 19 year old catcher at A ball that not only will he stick behind the plate but has the potential to be a very good defensive catcher. Couple that with an approach the Brewers seem to be gravitating towards with contact over 3TO and I would love to see if he can reach his potential.

  22. Pretty sure Mitchell ran into some tough luck for his first double of the night. It looked like a homer that bounced off of something and came back into play. Obviously no replay in the minors. Be that as it may nice to see Mitchell scorching hot right now.
